The film tells the story of two competing singing and dancing quintets - think aspiring Spice Girls, years after the event. One group is made up of teens, the other of 12-year-olds, and the first way "Standing Ovation" falls down on the job is that it tries to make us dislike the teen group - but they have all the talent.

Plus there is like 20 ORIGINAL songs and 14 ORIGINAL dances, that must have taken a lot of work, from the songs, and dances we can see in the trailers and sneak peaks they are really good too. And all you haters down there SHUT UP! I partially agree, but not EVERYTHING new is gonna be bad! Specially not music. I hate rap, but I LOOOOOOVE the sound of techno music! (Of course, that's just me)
I agree with the fact that this stuff is taking over real cartoons I hate it, but I do like a lot of the decent ones.

@chindmon2 ive commented on other people trust me. its just that what if someone doesnt have time to buy the dvd? its better in theaters then on dvd. personally. who said anything about affending you? im just trying to make a point. these people worked so hard on the movie. they want it on a big screen. not at home but with the world. this movie could go world wide for all we know.
