Neat!! My boss has some Department 56 buildings at his store that he would like to get rid of at half-price. If anyone wants a list, please send me a message.
Wonderful village! I really enjoy watching these videos and I always get ideas from watching others. I finally added a few videos of my village this year. I have been displaying them since 2004 but have never posted a video until now. God Bless and thanks for the great video!
i also collect the north pole... You make us all proud!!!!!!! Keep up the good work.. just think of all the memories your children will have... they will pass this on... trust me. I still remember mine.. thanks again..
Hi, I keep watching your video over and over. I'm going to make one and wanted to know what kind of styrofoam? Where do you buy it? What kind of foam hot wire knife do you/have you used. I'm a newby so any advice you can offer I would appreciate!! Hope you post this years village! Happy Holidays!
Most lumber yards will carry styrofoam, just make sure it's clean and white and I like it 2 inches thick! It comes in 4x8 foot sheets. The hot wire Knife can be found at Hot Wire Foam Factory{Google it, its easy to find} for starters I would get the Pro Model Starter Kit . It has every thing you need to get started. Advice is easy Just Have FUN you get to be a kid again !! Let your imagination go wild get the kids involved !! You will need there help to clean up your mess!! Merry Christmas!!
very nice job!!!! nice to see the village landscape!!! iit gives me more ideas... all of mine are on one level.... not for long lol... check out mine " christmas village by phil conners" give me some ideas please :-) Merry Christmas
Very easy to start ,You can make it look really look great by making the back houses higher then then front it makes all the houses look alot better!!
We pushed motion christmas lights in the back of 2 inch styrofoam then cut stars on the front side with hot wire carving knife. The motion lights make a real difference!!
I am hoping to do more with my village this year and like the idea of going round the room but my husband does not see how you support the weight, do you have brackets? Your display is awesome by the way , any help you can give would be gratefully received

Hot glue holds it all.And the nice thing, when it comes down, the glue comes of the brick with no problem.
