  • I still love this song. It has one of the best bass lines ever.

  • its just a twelve bar

  • He lives blocks from ground zero. It hit him as much as anyone, he didnt play this song live for many years after 9/11.

  • I first heard this song back in 1992. Well before any of the badness in NYC.

I think some of the reference is to the crash into the Empire state building in 1936. He just used the word chysler cuz it is a better word and the building is a better image.

Just so all yall know. SONG RELEASED 10 YEARS BEFORE 2001.

    just so yall know.

  • Wait, he played this song live the day before 9/11? That would freak me out a tad considering the lyrics.

  • He's singing about the Chrysler building, not the Twin Towers.

He also said "a man" not "many men"

The song is also about Chicago, not New York.

    SO THERE!

  • Regardless, think about waking up the next morning after that concert.

I'm not one for 9/11 conspiracy theories or any of that, it's just a scary coincidence in my opinion.

  • @wackyruss the crystler building isnot in chicago though, it is in new york
