the only problem with mine (which is the one he reviewed) is the strings that hang down from the waist belt when your not using them. at least make them removable or stowable

Yep its sad, I kinda wish that all the Northface backpacks that have the waiststrap have one similer to the Hotshot backpacks waiststrap. Nice an padded, and the strap is wider.
