Many of these soldiers are from one-child families due to efforts of the Chinese gov't to curb the growth of its population. If one tenth of the war technology investments was used in post-conflict intelligence, the present scene would be completely different. The number of casualties (in both sides) would be way smaller, Iraq would be functional already, US credibility would be unaffected.

So Turks have never done any shameful acts? The Ottoman Empire conquered people through force and then demanded they convert to Islam or be imprisoned/killed. Only a few European countries had colonial empires, far from all. The Ottoman Empire persecuted and killed religious/ethnic minorities for centuries. Thankfully, France and Britain pwned you big time in WW1 and Atatürk broke Islam's power over turkish politics. But not before up to a million Armenians died. How did they die? Mass-suicide?

this isn't the only african country with problems...there was rwanda and others. currently, in mogadishu, they're dragging people's bodies through the streets. there problems in zimbabwe. there's something very wrong with these people. the only thing i can kill are certain insects and mice.

I'm originally from Jamaica, and in the 1970s, there was an exodus of Chinese Jamaicans from Jamaica because the black Jamaicans were killing off the Chinese population there. My family and I fled to N. America. I currently reside in Toronto, and even though black people are a minority group in the country, they've been responsible for most of the crime in the city.

The U.N. and Mia Farrow should stop pressuring China to send troops to Darfur. Many of these soldiers are from one-child families due to efforts of the Chinese gov't to curb the growth of its population. Imagine telling people that they can only have one child, and now imagine telling them that, their only child will have to go to Darfur and risk getting killed in order to save the lives of other people. Please show some compassion to the parents of these soldiers.

I challenge all of the people who want to protest our government to pick up a rifle, enlist their sons and daughters, and go to the Sudan and STAND UP against them. When they are willing to do that, then they can protest.

Rambo says to a bunch of peaceniks "You bring any weapons" The peacenik says "Of course not" Rambo says back "You aint changing nothing.". Fuck Darfur let these people learn to behave on their own.

I am an American who hates what is happening in Darfur. I aslo hate the to bit idiots who use racist comments here. The problem is if America trys to help we will be called invaders by the two bit Islamic Extremist. This is a world problem that all free people should be involved. Forget the U.N. to many countries without courage to face idiots.
