I wouldn't say that. A lot of series are outlasted by their manga counter parts these days. GTO, Berserk, and some others that I can't think of. Maybe they just don't like to run these things on anymore.
I've seen a few episodes and I watched all of New Challenger, but mainly I keep up with the manga. I'll be waiting for the Sawamura fight in the new series mainly.
I like the soundtrack to Tsuneo Imahori, but this opening I've always liked its sound and hard style at the end.

The anime ends before the manga does I believe. I've never seen the whole anime but I noticed I knew about things friends of mine didn't.

I don't know about you,but I love this opening theme! Hajime is at that point in his career were action is the only thing that matters now.

i love this anime. under star is my fave. then this one. inner light took a moment to grow on me.

I like this and Understar Equally. Inner light is good too though. This anime has my fave openings for sure.
