  • I will have to agree with Tonio. either you need to find a better camera to record this through, or find another guitar to play with. Don't get me wrong, the tone is nice through the amp, but unfortunately it is painfully obvious that guitar is not a Stratocaster, and as much as one would like to think that you can just buy any single coil guitar and expect it to bring to the table, It won't.

  • @62Hotrod603

Actually this Suhr Antique is dead on the "strat" tone

Blindfolded in our store, the owner, owner of the guitar, and innocent bystanders could not tell the difference of the suhr with FL Classic PU's next to a 1958 Strat. Who would want to play anything other than a vintage strat. Fender has not made a guitar that sounds like a strat since 1965 unless you take into consideration the multi thousand dollar Custom Shop guitars.

  • @62Hotrod603

If your playing a new strat, i would consider getting a new guitar

  • @elitemusicsales That's ridiculous. I own a 2008 and a 2009 American Standard Strat, and they sound the best they have since the '50's. Anyone who says anything else is blind.......or deaf.

  • @murfdog19 or you are blind or deaf. There are 50 companies out there making way better strats than fender right now. Just because you want to believe your CNC'd poly american standard is the best since the 50's doesn't mean it is.

  • @rimtism123 Oh....you think a Poly finish makes a difference? Do your research noob. Fender was using a Poly undercoat in the early 1960s, and no one ever knew. All of my American Fender guitars play and sound amazing. I don't need all of the "magical" handmade, nitro finish to sound good. After all, tone is in the fingers. I could make a Squire sound like god.

  • @62Hotrod603 I don't think that it is painfully obvious that its not a strat, its sounds just like a strat to me. All the bright Clean spank is there, its just that this Camera's mic sounds awful. However I have to disagree with Elite that Fender doesn't produce good strats. Simply not the case.

  • @62Hotrod603 Hhahaha massive fail. He's playing a Suhr.

  • I appreciate all the demos you do and you have a very good player doing the playing. It is a shame that the audio is clearly clipping and overloading the camera mic for almost every second of the demo. There is no audio system in the world that can clean up the sound on that clip. There are very few demos of this amp in particular and it would be great to hear this recorded with a mic that could handle the volume

  • the amp is good, camera sucks and is clipping bad. Maybe just turn amp down a little. What do these run for price

  • Agreed, please don't waste our time with such a crappy audio quality on such a nice... well, way better than just nice, its a Two Rock.

This amp deserves much better representation than this poor example of cats scratching at the door to be let out type noise. This video falls into the catagory of a do-over heavily needed, and soon, before people think this amp actually sounds as bad as you have tried to make it appear. Post again with better sound quality, you are trying to sell these....?

  • @tonio19 What did you listen to this over - lap top, tower with stock speakers, etc. ?

  • @elitemusicsales it'll sound terrible through anything, the mic clipping is rediculous.

  • its just a shitty camera..

  • this is a terrible display of the two rock tone. I wish you would re-do this video with a better display of the amp's clean bell-like tone

  • i want one SO BAD. its perfect for what 'im looking for

  • we have the 10th Anniversary J-2 on its way
