  • Seems to me that this was considered a significant embarrassment/failure when it was first released...and I also seem to remember that all of Miles' dialog supposedly had to be dubbed - ? Was his real voice that lousy? I've never seen it.

  • I loved the scene where Tarzan has to fight the huge Ivory King to save Jane. I onlt wish that the Ivory King would have won and made Tarzan his sex slave like he had jane. Tarzan sex slave of the Ivory King!

    Miles seems VERY popular with Gay men.

    In the UK Graham Norton (TV chat show host) had his photo on the his desk and often phoned him to have a laugh.

    Anyway - is Miles O'Keeffe gay or just a gay icon?

  • I was suppried that it was rated R, but after thinking about it for a momment, I'm not XD If you've read the book, it's not a light-hearted read. And ratings were different back when this was made... The same thing would probably be PG-13 today. But if they made a movie based entirely off the book, Probably R for violence... Maybe... Hmm.

  • god, i just remembered, when this movie came out, they released a photography book featuring bo derek with a bunch of women rubbing white mud all over her front while she laid on her back. i believe it came from a scene near the end of the movie which lasted a few seconds. did anyone else see this book?

  • I loved the scene where Richard Harris gave his final instructions to Bo, right after a booby trap spike the width of a softball pierced his torso from front to end. He talked for at least 2 minutes.
