The SWAT are trained to handle dangerous criminal situations on our home front as a group, while the Marines are trained to raid an enemy base, survive the harsh conditions of the foreign land and CQB. That is in a nutshell of course.

@soflo23 Sir, may I say this? I'm no expert but the reason one wears pants is not out of any pandering to fashion but simply they are supposed to be fireproof. And if the presence is needed somewhere they should have drilled in getting into gear in the van - it should be stowed for immediate access. it's a simple one piece step in and zip up, pulls over the head too leaving a space for the gas mask and goggles. takes about 10 secs. comes in a set with gloves. Does that makes sense sir?
