The guy in front's knees are too far forward (past his toes) and his pelvic bone isn't tucked (butt sticking out/back arched), but otherwise a good example of the exercise.
It's so good to see basic stance training. It's this that makes it so special. Any genuine martial artist will see/know the importance of this kind of training. Without physical external training there can be no internal development.
Every style of kung fu uses mabu for stance/rooting training (as you know). Baguazhang develops ones rooting by moving (waliking); in this particular style, by jumping as well. I have seen the monks of shaolin temple (on video) jump up stair in mubu with weights on their ankels.
it´s too short for my liking... excelent excercise, anyway

Isnt the point of Mabu to root yourself? What use is rooting if you jump all silly like that?
