  • It fuck'n sounds like fuck'n Killswitch Engage, fuck'n nice

  • I've had my 333xl for over 3 years now and still going strong. changed the tubes 3 times... taken good care of it. People say these amps dont last. Half of them don't know how to take care of a tube amp

  • Well, Got one two month ago, 25th of august 2011. Out of the box came with power light fused. Then it started changing to the clean channel by itself...

Contacted the store that sold the amp: 2 months to get it repaired. Contacted Bugera, send the receipt. They told me it wasn´t bought from an authorised dealer. I got the invoice of the sale from the Portuguese representer, Sonigate to the store that i bought from. Bugera said the amp was out of warranty. It's a very bad buy.

  • Fuckin fuckin fuckin fuck

  • heres an idea take a drink everytime he says fucking..... ull get sooo drunk

  • Props to this review. This is the only youtube 333XL video that has it boosted, noise gated, and a good guitar, and the music i play in it. I think im sold on this fuckin unit.

  • @MetalVideoGameMusic if i were you man, i would honestly save and get something more reliable used (peavey XXX or JSX) before buying one of these. yea, it sounds really good but these amps are HIGHLY prone to failure. buyer beware!!

  • america, FUCK YEA

  • can you say more than two words without sayin fuckn?

  • how loud did you have you amp in this video?

  • @alecxg probably about 2.5 or 3.

  • You make the amp sound like a beast thats what its suppose to be.

  • nice tones

  • Nice gear man, nice tone, and nice playing!!

  • Hey, thanks for the video, great tone.

Wanted to ask you something, lets say umm killswitch engage were playing with this amp, they also use the maxon overdrive, how do they manage to switch between the clean tone and the lead so fast? i mean they need to turn off the lead on the footswitch and turn off the overdrive, then turn on the clean channel and the delay sometimes, please help, i really dont get it :p

  • they can have two amps splitted..with 2 effects chain one for every amp...by pressin one button you can switch to clean/dist or some pedals are midi controlled and can be bypassed with one click

  • @o0PapaMax0o Well KSE have been known to play with Mesa's and Peavey's which I think are capable of MIDI switching by a separate controller. This means their guitar techs 'program' up a switching unit so that when they press one button it engages all the separate loops for the pedals they require on at that time (imagine each pedal is a separate loop) and at the same time, the MIDI signal tells the amp to change channel. OR because they are rich, they just have multiple amp heads.

  • holy ship KSE tone O_O

  • you don't have to say 'fukin' in front of every noun...

  • It's fuck'n cool man.

  • @GesadiaH fuckin shit man fuckin dick fuckin shut your fuckin mouth you fuckin bitch

  • @GesadiaH yes i do. don't like what's on the tv? change the FUCKIN channel.

  • so the 333xl is "inspired" by the JSX from peavey right?

does it sound like the peavey too?

i heard the 6262 sounds exactly like the 6505+.

    have you ever compared them?

  • @Obigrobi666 I would say that it doesn't. The 333XL has similar qualities to the 6505 more than the JSX. The JSX doesn't contain huge amounts of gain saturation like the 333XL. This amp is very tight and Doesn't have as much clarity at high gain levels unfortunately. It's really just a rhythm player's dream.

  • really cool.. you've fogot one pedal: the Marlboro

  • haha yea, that is the secret weapon; the Marlboro pedal lol

  • pff yeah that riff in the beggining is such killer. u didn't exactly copy it so it's not fully a stealing :D but yeah I really like it too. brutal and really melody like

  • I am seriously considering this amp. Is it fully tubed? I will not buy another solid state amp.

I am dying for that super warm tube sound with clean and high gain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hey which rating did ya end up on for the Groove Tubes. I need to change mine on the 333xl and I'm diggin your tone. I got a similar set up. ESP Jeff Hanneman signature Guitar > Maxon OD9 Pro+ > Boss NS-2 > Korg Pitch Black in front of the amp.

  • i got a set of 8's. the amp now has KT77/ECC83S power/pre amp tubes in it!! will post vids soon!!

  • sweet man. I am changing out my preamps too. so far i added a Tung-Sol 12ax7 and a jj ecc83s. i'm thinking about getting the ecc83s gold pins and also have a JAN GE 5751 coming for the phase invertor. how are the kt77's? did ya have to mod the amp to run them?

  • noise supressor, to a tuner, to a pack of marlboros. lol

  • what setting did u have at this time if u remember?

  • i think i had these settings... Presence- 12 o'clock Gain- 2 o'clock Bass-11 o-clock Mid- 8-9 o'clock Treble- 1 o'clock Maxon OD-9: Drive- 8 o'clock Tone- 3 o'clock Level- 2 o'clock These are kinda straight from memory, i may be slightly off, but that's pretty much the same settings i have used since then. in this vid, i had Groove Tube EL34's too...
  • Hey! Hows the bugera, has it broken down or anything, is it a reliable amp?

  • yeah this fuckin pedal into that fuckin pedal fuckin

  • lol ya fuckin ahh..

  • yeah! lol!

  • yeahhhh, i was hung over at the time, so i didn't have very good control over the shit that i said. well, more like didn't really care hahaha

  • Thanks for this. I have now decided to buy this head. :)

  • that's a very killswitch engagey tone

    good job broseph

  • coming very soon; just bought a Bogner Alchemist. i have paired it with the 333XL run stereo into the bugera cab and so far all i can say is it has OBSCENE amounts of tone and gain!! vid coming very soon!!!

  • the thought alone just made me cum a little

  • Were those just random riffs or was it actually from a song?

  • pretty much just random riffage :) my other video with my Ibanez Artist is pieces from songs tho

  • Would you be able to tab it out for me? :P Sounds mean.

  • not quite sure i could, it was pretty random. id have to learn my own riffs over again lol

  • contemplating selling my GT EL34's and getting a set of 6L6's. haven't quite made up my mind yet tho...

  • im planning on buying this amp im just wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to vintage 30s and how would well will this sound threw emgs

  • to be honest, i have played this amp thru a few different cabs, and the bugera cab still sounds the best. i personally think (having owned many active emg guitars) that my petrucci pickups sound better than EMG's but i am sure they would sound fine. i highly suggest the Maxon OD-9 overdrive though.

  • That is some pretty amazing tone.

  • i will be making a video tonight of the ibanez again. this time, the ibanez is set up and strung for drob b. should be pretty damn heavy!!!

  • The Maxon does wonders for tube amps. especially for metal. great tone!

  • Isnt 120watts way too loud to play at home?

  • not really. i don't turn it up full blast at home. i really don't even turn it up full blast when im on stage. its plenty loud enough.

  • Lol i mean can you even turn it to 1 without going deaf?

  • update: my amp is now operational again. there was a circuit that arced out and burnt a transistor in the process. the guy that fixed it hard wired a few of the main circuits so i should be good now

  • jesus, sounds fantastic, I thought the 333xl wasnt as brutal as the 6262 but i can just boost it with my sd-1 i guess.

once again it sounds fantastic =)

  • lead or crunch channel?

  • Lead channel...

  • killer tone!

  • Sweeet, I just ordered the same amp...cant wait

  • hey man got a 333XL with a 1960 cab with the same maxon, what are your settings on the amp?....cheers man nice sound!

  • why did you use noise supressor? if i'm not mistaken there is an analog noise gate on this amp..great guitar, great tone!

  • because the one on the amp isn't a noise gate in the traditional sense. the noise gate on this amp pretty much just eliminates that ultra-high frequency 'hiss' that you get when you turn a high gain amp up really loud. it doesn't mute the guitar at all like a Boss NS-2. with the Maxon OD9, you definitely need the Boss noise gate

  • thanks for all of the comments and ratings!! the cab is a Bugera cab. I haven't personally played it thru anything else yet, but if you want the absolute best cab for this kind of music, i HIGHLY recommend a Splawn cab hands down. btw, the guitar is a John Petrucci signature Music Man hehe :)

  • Great tone. I have a 333xl head too. Recommend me a cab to match it... I was looking for a good one... Review me the bugera cab... Is it good(because its cheap and that is good being cheap if it sounds good, lol) or recommend me another 2x12 or 4x12 cab... Thanks.

  • I am playing thru the Bugera Cab, but i hope to soon upgrade to a Splawn cab soon

  • I just had unprotected ear sex with your Bugera.

sweet tone. The low end sounds huge!

  • Awesome.........mesa Recto's eat your heart out!! 10/10

  • omg what a fucking awesome tone...
