While I agree that it is wrong of the Israeli government to be evicting palestinians in west Jerusalem and doing nothing about the pain in the ass settler movement in Hebron, I do not feel you gave the whole story. Why was she evicted, Mosaic never explains. Also, no explanation was provided on the Israeli courts and how on many occasions, actions carried out by the government infringing the rights of Palestinians are overturned by the Israeli Supreme Court. Something that should be mentioned.

Palestine was never a country, when was there ever a distinct country/state known as Palestine? Israel also never wiped anyone off the map. The land that was called transjordan was given to Jews by the people who ruled it, England, at a cost to the people who were there. Checked it out, it still doesn't provide a full picture, it just points out Israel's faults, of which there are many. Sure, there are no illegal settlements in Israel but over 1 million Israeli arabs live peacefully and prosperously inside Israel with full rights of citizens, including the right to vote and participate in government, while No Jew in any arab country could say the same. They post stats but not facts, what about fighters, those killed in combat vs those killed in coffee shops?

If Israel is indeed the beacon of light you've claimed it to be, then why doesn't Israel open up its gates to third world multiculturalism, and diversity? Why is Israel's immigration policy ethnic Jewish-only? Why does the Palestinian minority have to live in separate neighborhoods & attend different schools? Why is interracial marriage illegal in Israel? Why no black people in Israel, or Hispanics?

There are black people in Israel, Hispanics, I don't know. You have to look at the Israeli perspective though. For almost 2000 years the jews were persecuted in every country in which they lived. After the Holocaust, Jews needed a state where they are the majority. Allowing large swaths of people from all over the world would eliminate that majority. Israeli-palestinians with citizenship choose to live in different neighborhoods, if they want to live in Israeli neighborhoods they can.
