  • Why am I only coming across this beautiful genre of music now? Where have I been for the past 17 years of my life?

  • I really love this song and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to play. It seriously took me only like 2 days to learn it.

  • @ttuurrttlle Oh is there anyway you could make a tutorial!? =)

  • Comment removed

  • @Evangeline30575 its actually a very easy song to play even for a beginner :P just start with the left hand and get that part down and you know have the song :) the hardest part is matching timing with your right and left hand but first just wonk on memorizing the song message me if you'd like the sheet music :) but dont forget to support the artist.

  • @Crimsen13 hey could you send me the sheet music please? i'd really appreciate it.

  • @ttuurrttlle same and no matter how much you play it its simply so wonderful.

  • sound like Elvis' "can't help falling in love with you"

  • Beautiful song reminds me of childhood and my family, on another level it reminds me of my daughter, Daddy loves you Sophia and I miss you. Lastley it reminds me of my lost love. I dream of her every night

  • Really amazing …

If you like Eluvium, you may enjoy my music (chanel : Vinc2Vinc), because he is one of my main influences. …

  • shut the fuck up about hip hop. that is purely rythmic atonal music. this is beauty.

  • felicitari Anatol!

  • so good! you guys might like Rems Floating Chandelier:)

  • As the original sound evolved it also diverged to such an extent that a wide spectrum of stylistically distinct musics was being referred to as (insert musical genre here)

    Thus is Core Sound.

    ~DJMAX Technika

  • There is so much depth in this song. It says so much about the Human struggle.

  • Everyone needs to listen to "Endtroducing....." before they label hip-hop as shit instead of the art it can be.

  • @HamSandwich09 "Hip-hop" (retarded name) was conceived as shit. A legacy it can never escape.

  • "Ellington - Death Wish"

  • What lovely top comments! fitting for a beautiful song.

  • c'mon, I can't be the only one thinking this sounds like N-Trance's "Set You Free" haha.

  • superb...I like it...THANKS.

  • "No description available" should be changed into "No description good enough"

  • I find this totally beautiful.

You do not need words to create incredible music.

  • i listen to a little bit of everything on pandora radio and this song always takes me to a place in a dream. awesome song.

  • @peterbth0m I agree, i did over generalize quite a bit. lol Utube just had to be a dick and limit me to 500 characters :)

  • This sounds the same as the piano in Adele's Something Like You. Standard weepy ballad stuff. Meh.

  • ooo yeaa mi favorite song tanks i like it

  • ooo yeaa mi favorite song tanks

  • I have this friend who plays the piano really well, and at the end of our acid/shroom trips we would often end up in the piano room and he would play while I would lay on the hot air vent and just listen. This is one of the songs he played the most, and only today I found out its name :)

  • Yes, this piece makes me think of a child exploring a scale they've recently discovered. A young, ignorant soul trying to reach and understand the beauty that this world is capable of creating. It's a wish to be able to see, feel, taste, and touch all that's possible. It's the moment before clarity, beauty, sorrow, fear, and sanctity all come together. And yet, there's a hint of exasperated pain from loss. To me it's strength...building from such an innocent beginning.

  • :)

  • I've only just discovered this ( I say 'only just' as I can't believe I have missed it until now), and I can honestly say that it has made such a huge, positive impression on me already. It's meticulous, flowing and beautiful, and I can't wait to hear more. Thank-you!

  • oh shut up you utter douches.

  • If you like Eluvium, Goldmund, Helios, Sigur Ros, Boards of Canada, Hammock, and similar artists, you might like my stuff. I'd love some support so I'd love it if you'd just take a listen. :)

  • If you like Hammock, Helios, Eluvium, Sigur Ros, or The Album Leaf you might like some of my stuff. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks

  • I do love his electronica but his piano is by far the most enchanting thing I've heard in a long time. I recommend his album An Accidental Memory, which is all piano. He does have piano spread out in his other albums but this one is made up entirely of piano.

  • So beautiful, I love it. Wish I could get this on my ipod or something, does anybody have one they could send to me?

  • @mrssassyjesse

you can go to FetchMP3.com kai to downloaded from there !

  • @mrssassyjesse atubeCatcher works great for me...

  • I walked into the coffee shop and I swear, this was the most enchanting sound to my ears. I walked up to the clerk and asked her what the song was. She looked on her Ipod and told me the name of the song and that's how I ended up here.

It was like a flower garden being revealed to me in my mind with the fragrance of wildflowers wafting through my nose. I was able to study and finish my homework to this music all while drinking my mocha.

  • @bl0gmOnKeY78 it's funny you say that, because I am doing my homework rigfht now as I listen to this!!

  • @ThePianoTwins16 LOL I'm doing that too. I just kept repeating this song over and over until it got annoying, listened to another, and came right back here again. Actually I'm doing it all over again since I listened to it two weeks ago :)

  • @bl0gmOnKeY78 I do the same exact thing!!!!

  • Reminds me of a U2 song played by Sungha Jung - With or without you

  • I want a piano.

  • 0:00<-----------replay butten :-)

  • it just make me feel to dance softly

  • the second I heard the first four measures...I started looking for sheet music...That's how beautiful this is to me...piano is an instrument that can produce such emotion throughout a piece...

  • beautiful, peaceful, calming I'm not big into piano but i really enjoy this song

  • amazing. it pulls you into it, and reminds you of everything good in life. :) love.

  • Im gonna kill myself with this song... Omg so melancholic...so beautiful...nostalgic and a very simple song .....yet so perfect....

  • Beautiful melody

  • BE

    A

    UTIFUL

  • this slays

  • Absolutely Lovely.<3

  • It makes me dream, it brings me back to the past, it makes me cry ... I love it

  • Love this

  • Which album is this off?

  • @irishelim

    copia.

  • je crois que j'ai jamais entendu quelque chose d'aussi beau, on est proche de la perfection!!!

  • when i show this music to my friends they ask "what is this sad gay crap" and i reply "its the music that your shit hip hop evolved from..."

  • @Cod5wiiman50 since when did hip hop evolve from this hahaha? dont get me wrong i love this song and this genre which i just call post rock instrumental, but hip hop did nooott evolve from this mayne haha

  • @321Green1Fork123 well where else did it evolve from dude? every genre pretty much evolved from classical because it was the first

  • @Cod5wiiman50 hip hop evolved from people in basements mixing beats and from The Master of Ceremonies, or "MCs" that came from jamaica to new york that liked to rhyme. Trust me man they werent thinking or listening to or inspired by classical instrumental music. And the first music was made by african cultures around a fire going crazy about spirits and what not haha

  • @Cod5wiiman50 i hate how people can't learn to appriciate the origins of where todays music came from. i think this is very beautiful. :)

  • @Cod5wiiman50 I believe you mean *devolved from :)

cause hip hop has certainly only gone down hill since it became an expression of extroverts who don't actually have anything to say about themselves besides what they own.

  • @thejfactors haha very good xD too bad the only good representations of hip hop are now gone like Nujabes and Michael Jackson

  • @Cod5wiiman50 hip hop didn't evolve from this. or anything like this. it came from funk and jazz...yeah hip hop takes influence from it, but it takes influence from everything. sounds like you're a prick as well.

  • @puretroubleman Im the prick? Look at all of your hip hop stars excluding the actual good hip hop. they dont seem to be too classy or well organized. what has it come to? some kid from the disney channel or a person who knows how to use an auto tuner? AMAZING :O

  • @Cod5wiiman50 i think your confusing rap and pop with hip hop.

  • @puretroubleman No, he's right. Have you ever listened to hip hop...?

  • @LoLKuR3 of course I have... have you? I find it difficult to believe you have...

  • @puretroubleman perhaps a different style? You ever heard of Nujabes?

  • @LoLKuR3 yes... but I don't think he was that good.

  • @puretroubleman Regardless of whether or not you think he produced good music, he produced hiphop beats.

  • @Cod5wiiman50

    You are an idiot.

  • @skulleton thats nice. I wrote that a long time ago, i really dont give a shit anymore dude :)

  • @Cod5wiiman50 I understand your frustration. I only have one friend out of dozens who shares the same tastes in music as I do. But that only makes the music I enjoy so much more special to me. :)

  • @Cod5wiiman50 CORRECTION:" its the music that your shit hip hop DEvolved from..." =)

  • @bakkermaarten007 nice xD

  • @bakkermaarten007 Someone needs to learn some music history.

  • @Cod5wiiman50

    'Sad gay crap'? Unbelievable.

  • @Cod5wiiman50 I'm not sure why this has so many likes. First off, this isn't the music hip hop evolved from. You'd have to be ear cripple to believe that. Second, why don't you find some friends that share your taste in music, rather than talking shit on youtube about the ones you have?

  • @tyraende So what brought you here then good sir? If you came to argue about where it came from are you just searching for a fight to defend it? I may not be right about it straight evolving from it, but classical was one of the first major genre's and all anyone cares about today is songs that include lyrics like " les go fuck and get wasted and smoke some shit." It just sounds incompetent.

  • @Cod5wiiman50 if by " incompetent" you mean "sounds like a good time" I totally agree with you.

  • @clittleelttilc if it sounds like a good time to you, you need to grow up and stop doing drugs, drugs are bad mkayy.

  • @Crimsen13 Man, you are so defensive. Apparently sarcasm doesn't come off as well as I had thought. I mean, I am here to listen to this song after all ;)

  • @tyraende If I wanted to listen to good hip-hop I would buy a nujabes album.

  • @Cod5wiiman50 involved, maybe

  • @Cod5wiiman50 insulting hip hop isn't fair just because you dont like it.

  • @nameless12345 So your saying that I should lay down and let hip hop fanatics insult classical music? That's quite comical...

  • @Cod5wiiman50 no i am saying that you shouldn't assume that people that enjoy hip hop would not like this music. Just because you think hip hop is "shit" it doesn't mean it actually is, that's just your opinion. O yeah and Hip Hop didn't evolve from this

  • @Cod5wiiman50 unless your whole comment was reffering to mainstream hip hop but then you should be more fucking specific

  • @nameless12345 Yes it was reffering to mainstream. There is good hip hop out there, but it is very rare to come across (ex. Nujabes). No need to use expletives.

  • Hi, my name is Mikael Sapin, let me invite to my channel, I am a composer pianist. I hope you like my music ^_^

  • es la hostia muy bueno

  • Around :30, this song sounds almost like "River Flows In You" by Yiruma. It's a very distinct similarity....the tune repeats itself a few times throughout.

  • Wonderfull cx

  • This is beauty.

  • Its like leonard cohen's "hallelujah" ran in to "comptine d'un autre été" and they made a love baby...! ^^

  • amazing

  • Awesome song...

  • i love this...im not a pianist but not being able to play even less makes me feel more sad...this is beautiful i wish i could play it...damn hand!!!!

  • erik ellington in is deathwish part

  • ITS MUSIC LIKE THIS THAT MAKES ME LOVE LIFEE And have HOPE

  • After pressing Random Article a few hundred times on Wikipedia, I stumbled on Eluvium. Every single one of their music pieces is masterfully composed, keeps you glued to your seat, and keeps you wanting MORE! In fact, I just found out about Eluvium today, and I can't stop listening to Radio Ballet!

  • @whoopdewoot Not "their", "his" - it's only one person, Matthew Cooper.

I recommend Everything to Come, New Animals From the Air, The Unfinished, One and Taken.

I'm hooked to eluvium ever since my brother introduced me to his music.

  • like x 1000000

  • you shouldn't argue about your different tastes of music. in the end it's pointless.. but still if you don't particularly like a song, maybe you should keep it to youself and listen to something you do like instead and then praise it.. you dont gain anything with telling someone that his/her taste in music sucks, on the contrary you just spread negative energy.. Lets's just all agree to disagree...right?

  • This is such a beautiful masterpiece! I think i'm gonna cry! :)

  • Clearly these people are so blinded by their "this music is perfect and whoever says otherwise is an imbecilic moron who doesn't recognize good music when they hear it" bullshit that they won't stand for any sort of criticism when they see it.

    How juvenille.

  • If you like this, maybe you should check out Radio Ballet - Stijn Buysse

  • all eluvium music is magical, but this one is magical masterpiece

  • i think it is the fact that it sounds like a child exploring a scale they've just discovered, a young, ignorant soul trying to rach and grasp the beauty that the world can create. wishing they were able to see and feel and taste and touch the world and all that's in it, yet mournful that all they have is a room and a piano. the moment before clarity, when beauty and sorrow, fear and sanctity all wrap into themselves

  • ...yeah... what he said... :S

  • Deep man.

  • @rezzna1 dude it's just youtube

  • @rezzna1 Take it easy, its just youtub

  • @rezzna1 wow impressive

  • @rezzna1 WTF your comment send shivers down my spine

  • @rezzna1

Sounds like a load of pretentious bullshit.

  • @snorrfles Sounds like your mouth is full of it.

  • @rezzna1 This is exactly how I feel... you put my feeling into words. I can't play the piano but I figured out how to play this piece and I now am trying to explore the beautiful realm of music.

  • @rezzna1 I think it's mostly just the fact that it's awesome.

  • @rezzna1 a moment of truce is yet to hold the desires and hopes of a young mind. desperate for the attention of our cultural and media soaked world, but yet we hold true to a daringness of knowing what we are and how to get there. it's the true beauty in the song that words underly a feeling of incantatory meaning.

  • Briliant!

  • the overabundance of pedal really ruins this for me. and it's really flat. not intonation-wise, but there's no direction. It reminds me of when I play a simple 1-V-vi-IV progression and my 7 year old sister improvises a meoldy. I really don't mind the mainstream/standard simplicity of it, it's just really boring to listen to.

  • Do you not understand Ambient music?

  • @cherilynreimers blah blah blah i play the piano etc etc fuuuuuuuck off

  • @an1m4l Second that.

  • I get what you're saying that although it's simple and nice, it doesn't go anywhere.

  • Where can i download this song?

  • write me your e-mail and i will send you :)

  • beautiful and simple.

  • pure beauty

  • eff yes

  • nice :-)

  • beautiful...

  • i can play this on piano

  • cool teach me!

  • From the album 'Copia' - an extraordinary piece of music.

  • This piece always makes me smile.

  • pure.
