I can't say there is no "Higher Being."
But I can no longer believe in THE GOD OF HEARTACHE that the various human writers of the "Bible" created as I once did - as my parents brainwashed me to believe like their parents brainwashed them to believe ad infinitum just like you were probably brainwashed by your parents - and so it goes.
What else are we to do? Other religions are obviously stupid. Atheism seems dead. So we're left stuck with feeling lost or believing in THE GOD OF HEARTACHE.

BTW - Read St. Paul and Acts and the Charismatics make a good case that the Early Church probably looked exactly like the bonehead people in this video - people doing stupid things, acting ridiculously and behaving shamefully but being too clueless to have a sense of shame - performing emotional healings that probably lasted no more than a day or two - ending as soon as the adreneline burned off.

We, believers read the Bible and study it. Unbelievers would never pick up the Bible to read or study, therefore we understand MANY more things in the Bible. He's not just my God, He's our God and He is everywhere. He's omni present and He wants to be a part of your life. And yes, the Bible does say where He is...i just said it, He's omni present, meaning everywhere. He is in heaven and on earth and He is anywhere you could ever imagine, except hell. And i'm not sure what you meant, but we can't see Him. But we can definitely feel Him when He is around us. The bible was written by people that were led by the Holy Spirit.
