I think you w Was the former North East Airlines bought out by Delta Airlines in 1970 something from Miami International to Fort Lauderdale International, (MIA -FLL) is a flight of less than 10 minutes. I think it is shorter from wheels up to wheels down than the YVR to either Victgoria or Nanimo but I think Japan has everyone beat.

Alaska Airlines has a 32 mile route from Wrangell to Petersburg in a Boeing 737 that is scheduled at 20 minutes. I think that may be the shortest North American scheduled Jet flight. Would be curious to know of any shorter North American scheduled jet flights.

Could not find that one listed anywhere. The Comair website refers to Delta for bookings. Delta uses JFK to Hartford for their nonstops.

Kitadaito and Minamidaito are both small islands at about 500km far from Okinawa main island.

Dash 8 100 operate from Okinawa-naha int`l airport to Kitadaito. Then,after taking off Kitadaito,soon landing at Minamidaito.

An airway is defined as a highway in the sky.

G559, UL9, UL18, UT425, UM733 those are examples of airways=highways in the sky. They are composed of fixes which are the highway intersections. A fix is composed of 5 letters. ex: OKTET, which is the entry point of UM733 departing from LFMN. The highways are also composed of VOR's, or NDB's. (BSN for a VOR, or NC as an NDB).
