  • AWESOME!! Where can I download the original game?

  • to sfah80

ScummVM is not restricted to only dos games, it also supports some amiga, atari, sega cd, and even a few windows cd games. I also have the curse of monkey island running on scummVM on both my windows vista desktop and my ipod touch 2g, and it runs flawlessly.

  • @Sk8inon68 It can even run pretty well on Wii... with a bit of reencoding to minimize the size of the video and audio files, thus speeding up the transfer of the files from the SD card to the Wii memory. It's nice to play with the Wiimote pointer while sitting in your couch ^^.

  • try looking for Dos files

    they work

  • ScummVM is really complicated. Getting it run is like becoming an expert in programming. It's not out-of-the-box. Not at all. AND you need all the original game files, who has those? It's a long term project to get Scummvm going.

  • Unless you confused it with DOSBox I have no clue what you're on about. Getting it to run involves opening it and telling it what folder your files in. As for having the files, why WOULDN'T you need the files? Scummvm is just software that makes the games run properly on different OSes, it's not a magic box. If you can't find a Monkey Island download, you aren't trying. Scummvm is ridiculous easy to use, I'm not sure where you got the idea it was so hard.

  • @spycloud

Huh strange Scummvm is very easy to use...But for DOSBOX is rather difficult

  • Hmm, maybe it was time I got that scummvm installed..

  • Awesome! I can't wait until I get my Wiz
