@Tortiak A T-1 is slow but it's guaranteed 1.544M up and down. Your home internet is usually faster but not guaranteed speed and "best effort" is applied. So if your rip roaring internet connection drops to 56k your internet provider will give you some half baked reason why it isn't...except tell you your speed isn't guaranteed
I have RR Turbo @ 15Mbps. I also hear that RR has the new RR Wideband at 50Mbps. $49.99mo. & $99.95mo.
