Get a gym membership, go to the gym 5 days a week, eat a big breakfast and big dinner, each time you eat make sure you full till you cannot possibly eat anymore then after that meal an hour later, down a desert. Also get on some mass gainer protein. That will put on the weight.

Potatoes, beans,pasta (brown and white) steak, eggs, chicken, fish, Raw vegetables and fruits,milk, oatmeal, nuts, avocados, Protein/green foods shake and a cheat meal here and there like a pizza, hamburger, pancakes, muffins etc (not too often though).. Try eating every 2 and a half to 3 hours (don't consume too much at one time) or else the gains are going to go straight to the gut area. I was once a soft skinny wuss but I follow these steps and I had a total transformation.

I used to be like 115 last year, after a year and a half of hardcore weight lifting and dieting, I'm up to 150. But obviously it's not all muscle, in fact, there's a lot of pudge in the lower midsection, which looks horrible... I did make decent gains in my pecs arms back and legs... I'm a small guy at 5'5" but something went terribly wrong with the stomach. lol
@nubster02 did you do cardio to burn that fat or did you just lift weight? I'd suggest you do 20 min of bike (2-3X per week from now on, to burn that fat and increase your stamina)

OK man all sounds good, but I am a diabetic and im skinny. I have abs and decent sized arms but I want to be ripped and a little more bulky. @DarkFearProductions1 read convict conditioning (progressive calisthenics), and do the exercises in the evening (which is the best time to build, while you are asleep and regenerating) as opposed to early afternoon (which is the best time to burn fat, throughout the day). Be sure to pack on the protein before and/or after the exercises. protein rich food sources should be lean (eggs, tuna, chicken), and it's a low glycemic source of calories. I have a pdf copy of the book if interested...

IF you are eating 3000 calories/day, bump it to 4000. If you are eating 4000, bump that number to 5000. Take protein shakes, Creatine, Tuna fish, Chicken, Brown rice, white rice, whole wheat bread, eggs, lots of milk and banana, more fruits and veggies. Its simple really. Also sleep about 10-12 hours/day if you can. I gained 10lb in 9 days by doing just that.

I think the only way to gain weight is to skip breakfast, and throw a large protein meal(whether lamb, beef, liver, fruits, vegetables) all into lunch. Then wait till dinner to eat to keep you hungry, and put another large meal of meat, fruits, and vegetables into your dinner plan. It might work because you are basically starving yourself for a while to lower your metabolism, then binging on healthy foods so you gain fat. Its better than 6 small meals a day, which is more for skinny people.
@CBasie2856 That is wrong. Breakfast is the most important thing. Lots of sleep is also the other most important thing for gaining weight. You have to eat at least 3-4 good meals a day and have 3-4 snack sessions in between.

@wadoryu2u It's cause you're 17. Dont over analyse it. Give yourself a year or 2, let your metabolism crack. Oh and also, very important, immune system diseases like the common cold or hay fever make you lose up to 5% of your fluid mass a day. Your body is approx 90% fluids. Just dont get sick :P
@wadoryu2u Gaining weight is not easy job. We have high metabolism and thats good. I gained 12Kg in 10 months. Muscles dont grow overnight. Over-feeding yourself wont stimulate muscles growth. You have to do weight training with PROPER NUTRITION including supplementation. There are tons for bodybuilding diets in youtube. Find them. My advise, have small meal about every 2-3 hrs. If u are total beginner in bodybuilding,just familiar yourself with gym routine first, then improve ur nutrition.

In regards to creatine I find it less effective after a few cycles, not sure why! I use Reflex though.

All joking aside..I have IBS..I cannot eat the foods I need to eat and with this condition I have an esophigal issue..I cannot burp thus making it nearly impossible to eat airy foods. Of course you will have to lift hard. I like squats and deadlifts because it produces testosterone throughout ur body. So u can gain upper body mass from squats and deadlifts. If you not on any program you shout get on a good mass building routine. Protein shakes are not necessary if you are hitting macros. But it easy calories So if u drink 2 a day its an easy 1200 Calories and 50 g. Also creatine is a naturally produced in the body so creating supplemets are safe and help u get big. Eat big.
When you clean bulk you will put on fat and muscle. Your genetics will determine how much muscle vs. Fat you put on. You will have to hit 4000 calories a day with 1-2x protein for bodyweight. So I weigh 180 and aim for 200 grams of protein per day.eat alot of eggs, toast, cereal, bananas, oat meal, oats, bread, tuna, peanut butter, pasta,chicken, steak, lean meats, milk, veggies, fruits. If you hits all your macros with these you will put on weight.
There are basically to ways to do it. You can either dirty bulk or clean bulk. Dirty bulk is where you eat anything to hit your macros. Macros=All the protein, carbs, fats, and calories u have to eat. So when you dirty you can eat candy, soda, but will mostly gain more fat.
When you clean bulk you will eat healthy but ALOT. You need to eat every 2-3 Hours to get your metabolism going. If you have a fast metabolism eating every 2-3 Hours will help you keep the weight on. So basically

@homiezrgr8 Gotta consistently get more calories in each day. Add some peanut butter in as an easy way to bump up the calories - but the main calories should be coming from quality carbs. Top bulking carbs = Brown Rice, Oats, Sweet Potato (yam). Top protien sources are Salmon, Chicken, Lamb, Eggs, WPC, Beef. Get fats from your eggs, peanut butter, organic butter, coconut oil. Have 50g virgin coconut oil each day = 450 calories and gives quality MCT for energy.
@homiezrgr8 I believe it helps you metabolize fat. Weight gain or loss still depends on total calories. I guess if you were in calorie deficit, including some coconut oil, this may help in burning fat :) What I know is that its a healthy fat to help bump up calories. Tastes good too :)

I want to gain 2 lb. of bodyweight per week. Started benching 135 lb. 6X, and now it is 170lb. 6X. That is elbows in form. My standing barbbell military press was 85 lbs. and now it is 115 lb. 6X. I am doing pullups with 45 pounds on my waste 6X. I put three 45 pound plate on my legs to do seated dips. My hammer curl is 45 lb. 6X. EZ bar curl 35lb on each side 6X, my seated dumbbell tricep extension is 75 pounds 6X. 155lb. bent over row 6x. 50 lb chest chest fly 6x. Not sure if good, im 126 lb.
Im 20 years old, 126 pounds, and 5'7. Started lifting again after injury about a month and 3 weeks ago. Saw no gains in weight for a month because I miscalculated calories. So a week and half ago I started creatine cycle and gained like 6 pounds in water weight and 1/2 inch to my arms. My diet as of 1 meal ago is 1.5g of protein per b of body weight, 3.5g carb and 0.5 fat. No real gains, so im bumping carbs to 4g per lb. bw. Is this good move, or should I bump fat up.

@jimus2008 You want to 'gain weight' but in the form of muscle. If your diet is good, you can gain just muscle with minimum fat. Basically aim for 200-500g average weight gain per week, and if your training is correct this will make those extra calories convert into muscle. Just start eating more and training intensely with large compound exercises. Your appetite will go up when you are training too which helps. Stick to calorie-dense nutritious foods and steer away from junk.

@somrazy3 How much is'so much'? and do you consistently eat so much? Try adding in more calorie-dense foods like peanut butter. It takes a few days of eating more calories consistently, before you see gains. It all boils down to "Calories in VS Calories out". If you are not gaining weight, you are not eating enough calories.

Potatoes, beans,pasta (brown and white) steak, eggs, chicken, fish, Raw vegetables and fruits,milk, oatmeal, nuts, avocados, Protein/green foods shake and a cheat meal here and there like a pizza, hamburger, pancakes, muffins etc (not too often though).. Try eating every 2 and a half to 3 hours (don't consume too much at one time) or else the gains are going to go straight to the gut area. I was once a soft skinny wuss but I follow these steps and I had a total transformation.

I used to be like 115 last year, after a year and a half of hardcore weight lifting and dieting, I'm up to 150. But obviously it's not all muscle, in fact, there's a lot of pudge in the lower midsection, which looks horrible... I did make decent gains in my pecs arms back and legs... I'm a small guy at 5'5" but something went terribly wrong with the stomach. lol

@DarkFearProductions1 read convict conditioning (progressive calisthenics), and do the exercises in the evening (which is the best time to build, while you are asleep and regenerating) as opposed to early afternoon (which is the best time to burn fat, throughout the day). Be sure to pack on the protein before and/or after the exercises. protein rich food sources should be lean (eggs, tuna, chicken), and it's a low glycemic source of calories. IF you are eating 3000 calories/day, bump it to 4000. If you are eating 4000, bump that number to 5000. Take protein shakes, Creatine, Tuna fish, Chicken, Brown rice, white rice, whole wheat bread, eggs, lots of milk and banana, more fruits and veggies. Its simple really. Also sleep about 10-12 hours/day if you can. I gained 10lb in 9 days by doing just that.

I think the only way to gain weight is to skip breakfast, and throw a large protein meal(whether lamb, beef, liver, fruits, vegetables) all into lunch. Then wait till dinner to eat to keep you hungry, and put another large meal of meat, fruits, and vegetables into your dinner plan. It might work because you are basically starving yourself for a while to lower your metabolism, then binging on healthy foods so you gain fat. Its better than 6 small meals a day, which is more for skinny people.

@wadoryu2u Gaining weight is not easy job. We have high metabolism and thats good. I gained 12Kg in 10 months. Muscles dont grow overnight. Over-feeding yourself wont stimulate muscles growth. You have to do weight training with PROPER NUTRITION including supplementation. There are tons for bodybuilding diets in youtube. Find them. My advise, have small meal about every 2-3 hrs. If u are total beginner in bodybuilding,just familiar yourself with gym routine first, then improve ur nutrition.

Put 4 scoops of IDS Smart Gainer 10lb(It is the cheapest and best weight gainer)
in a blender. Add milk until the blender is 3/4 full. Add a scoop of normal oats. Add one banana. Add 3 tablespoons of peanut butter or nutella. Add some kind of fruit or vegetable. Then blend. TAKE THIS SHAKE 2-3 TIMES A DAY, OR IT WILL NOT WORK.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:

Of course you will have to lift hard. I like squats and deadlifts because it produces testosterone throughout ur body. So u can gain upper body mass from squats and deadlifts. If you not on any program you shout get on a good mass building routine. Protein shakes are not necessary if you are hitting macros. But it easy calories So if u drink 2 a day its an easy 1200 Calories and 50 g. Also creatine is a naturally produced in the body so creating supplemets are safe and help u get big. Eat big.

When you clean bulk you will put on fat and muscle. Your genetics will determine how much muscle vs. Fat you put on. You will have to hit 4000 calories a day with 1-2x protein for bodyweight. So I weigh 180 and aim for 200 grams of protein per day.eat alot of eggs, toast, cereal, bananas, oat meal, oats, bread, tuna, peanut butter, pasta,chicken, steak, lean meats, milk, veggies, fruits. There are basically to ways to do it. You can either dirty bulk or clean bulk. Dirty bulk is where you eat anything to hit your macros. Macros=All the protein, carbs, fats, and calories u have to eat. So when you dirty you can eat candy, soda, but will mostly gain more fat.
When you clean bulk you will eat healthy but ALOT. You need to eat every 2-3 Hours to get your metabolism going. If you have a fast metabolism eating every 2-3 Hours will help you keep the weight on. So basically

@homiezrgr8 Gotta consistently get more calories in each day. Add some peanut butter in as an easy way to bump up the calories - but the main calories should be coming from quality carbs. Top bulking carbs = Brown Rice, Oats, Sweet Potato (yam). Top protien sources are Salmon, Chicken, Lamb, Eggs, WPC, Beef. Get fats from your eggs, peanut butter, organic butter, coconut oil. Have 50g virgin coconut oil each day = 450 calories and gives quality MCT for energy.

@homiezrgr8 it is the only thing that truely works. i just started a month ago, i was 5'7 133 lbs now im 143 but i lift 6 days a week heavy weights 5 set of 5 reps like benching, dead lifts, squats. i also take fish oil and beef amino acids and creatine and jack3d when i work out. all in all i have gained 10 lbs quickly. JUST DO IT!!!!!!!

I want to gain 2 lb. of bodyweight per week. Started benching 135 lb. 6X, and now it is 170lb. 6X. That is elbows in form. My standing barbbell military press was 85 lbs. and now it is 115 lb. 6X. I am doing pullups with 45 pounds on my waste 6X. I put three 45 pound plate on my legs to do seated dips. My hammer curl is 45 lb. 6X. EZ bar curl 35lb on each side 6X, my seated dumbbell tricep extension is 75 pounds 6X. 155lb. bent over row 6x. 50 lb chest chest fly 6x. Not sure if good, im 126 lb.

Im 20 years old, 126 pounds, and 5'7. Started lifting again after injury about a month and 3 weeks ago. Saw no gains in weight for a month because I miscalculated calories. So a week and half ago I started creatine cycle and gained like 6 pounds in water weight and 1/2 inch to my arms. My diet as of 1 meal ago is 1.5g of protein per b of body weight, 3.5g carb and 0.5 fat. No real gains, so im bumping carbs to 4g per lb. bw. Is this good move, or should I bump fat up.

nice vid mate good info. jus after more advice if possible. im 25- 5'11' - 60kg skinny n never got over 63kg even eating lots n sitting on my ass. im looking to gain wieght n build up muscle mass. i havent started training yet but about to. AM i better off trien to build muscle while trien to put on wieght? or put on some wieght then turn into muscle? my aim is to get to 75kg ripped. with a good diet n workout plan do u think it can be achieved in only 3 months ???? any advice would be great

@jimus2008 You want to 'gain weight' but in the form of muscle. If your diet is good, you can gain just muscle with minimum fat. Basically aim for 200-500g average weight gain per week, and if your training is correct this will make those extra calories convert into muscle. Just start eating more and training intensely with large compound exercises. Your appetite will go up when you are training too which helps. Stick to calorie-dense nutritious foods and steer away from junk.

@somrazy3 How much is'so much'? and do you consistently eat so much? Try adding in more calorie-dense foods like peanut butter. It takes a few days of eating more calories consistently, before you see gains. It all boils down to "Calories in VS Calories out". If you are not gaining weight, you are not eating enough calories.

try and eat 4000 calories a day you cant eat to much protein cause your body wont want to eat much
try eating crappy food like pizza which in most cases is 1000 calories dont care what about what you eat for a few months as long as you get that 4000 or more plus snack with high calorie stuff. after a few months cut down calories and eat 70% protein and the rest carbs and fat increase cardio and a year later you should be ripped if you lift heavy i suggest deadlifts and squats then burn loads
