Don't get me wrong, Lori Rom is a great actress, but Alyssa Milano really connected with the character phoebe, and she makes a hell of a great one for the past 8 seasons. The only thing that would have probably changed was that if Lori had stayed Phoebe, the show would have either ended earlier, or Prue would still be on the show. Depending on whether Lori and Shannen got a long or not!

I think I am just so used to seeing Alyssa as Phoebe. Lori did pretty well when I watched that version. But Alyssa nailed the part a lot better.

The original Andy was a lot cuter than the one they used with Alyssa. Ouch!

Lori's version seemed way too old. Phoebe is the youngest of the three, but Lori seemed older than them all. Phoebe's naivete in believing the Ouija board and reading a spell is only believable with Alyssa.

she did take the part, she filmed a whole episode, but then she had to quit for her own reasons...THANK GOD they chose Alyssa for the replacement tho, it wouldnt be the same without her!
