If Del Potro touches the net, he loses the point.

If the ball bounces on Gonzalez's side of the court before Del Potro makes contact with it, Gonzalez wins the point.

@remnant24 i see your point, but it he was serving down 5-6 in the first set... it would just be kind of annoying especially because the umpire chair is blocking the other side of the court so even if he could get it it would be a struggle. just my opinion, im sure a many others would have been annoyed

@pararesis Being annoyed isn't a reason to be vocal, especially in this case where he was beaten fair and square and knew it. If he'd reacted fast enough to get to that ball, he could have jumped over the net and played it—which is legal as long as you don't come in contact with the net or the opponent's playable side of the court. So, there's really no excuse.
