i never even played castlevania, but i watched him play it countless hours, gathering every drop from every monster.

and this boss.. well it scared the crap out of me!

What's most ridiculous in this, is that a great general of hell is under Dracula's command. I mean...come on. Even if Dracula is a guy that made pact with the devil, doesn't mean he should give him command of one of his generals. Same thing with Death. Beelzebub has been used as a name for the devil, but pretty much a lot of religious things are complicated and have many names due to different eras and revisions.

Though one consistent thing about Beelzebub is that he is the "Lord of the Flies"... hence his minions.

They call him lord of the flies because its rotting and decay that was at first associated with death(y'know with maggots supposedly appearing outta nowhere on rotting meat til science kicked in and showed flies were eggs etc...) but yeah. represents corruption/decay (Lord of the Flies-by William Golding)

Actually you're both wrong. Beezelbub was a character in the book Lord of the Flies. Read it sometime or rent the movie based on it. This game is obviously making a reference to that book here.
