  • With your method, is your swing essentially the same for all clubs (i.e., driver, hybrid & irons)? If different, what are the differences?

BTW, love how you explain everything so the amateur can understand.

  • Paul I am so glad i found your videos. I feel like I owe you money now...

    ADHD is not real.....

  • You make so much sense Paul. I have ADHD and thus concentration problems. Do you have any tip on how to keep my eyes on the ball, instead of wondering off it all the time? Thank you so much!

  • Skip the dang talking 1:50 And He is right when your with friends and you do stuff wrong it meand that your trying to empres them

  • I really have to agree regarding negative comments,,,this is free,,,if you don't like it go watch something else !

I've been golfing for over 40 years and the days of running off to the teaching pro. at the local driving range are over.

In an effort to improve ( which we all want to do ) we seek out tips and advice,,,here's a tip,,,stick with Paul and his lessons. The key is starting with basics,,,too many hustlers ( some well known ) flogging crap devices. Stick with basic fundamentals.

  • Thanks Paul , great tip , golf is a game of concept and strategy...

  • Great info...thanks for the tips. Looks like you are in Palm Springs...am I right? :)

  • Blah blah blah. Too wordy. I suggest presenting in a more concise fashion.

  • I used to make golf tutorials like you...then I took an arrow to the knee

  • What a great vid...My consistent thought in golf is the target not technique. Once I've trained it I trust it. Bringing the training from the range to the course was the hard part for me, however I learned that focussing on specifics during play is only a hindrance to my game. So I build confidence and focus during play simply by focussing on my target. The body reacts to aiming better than it does on technical stuff. Look at Dr Bob Rotella Books Golf all in the head.

  • you can tell most of the people that complain that he talks too much probably suffer from ADHD or a just plain stoooopid! .... yeah he might talk a bit...but there's method in it....there's information...there's explanation...if you're all sooooo good...then why the f**k are you watching this?? f**kers!

  • you'all like to bag people eh? Paul wilson actually provides hours of solid golf instruction on Revolution golf that if you practice, you will improve your game. He is the least gimmicky of any instructor I've come across, they all contradict each other. He explains in a way that is easy to understand if you are serious about improving your game I advise you to check it out. Costs $67 for about 300+ short videos, also from Jim McLean. Better value to learn from top instructors.

  • Hey paul, Thanks for all your advice, I actually paid for all of it a while back, you also helped me go from a 200 yeard drive to 288. I have a simple question, how to choose the right flext and loft? For acurracy and distance.

  • yawn, :O this guy talks waay too much

  • @horimaoriguy he's trying to fix your swing you idiot

  • Paul,

I have stiff shafts, if i slow down will i need to go get regular shafts?

    Brian

  • quite boring. Nothing useful except junk talk and promo. What a waste of time.

  • this guy sure likes to talk imagine if he was a girl

  • You play golf by long talking?

  • 1:50... to skip the talking

  • @lildaniels24 THANK you! :)

  • I like this guy. reminds of people from back int he days. when they actually tried to help u.

  • the most depressing and frusturating days of your life?....little harsh isn't it

  • you suck, no slice tips??

  • I love how he says loosing his swing was the most frustrating time in his life. Boy, some people really have difficult lives, lol

  • @prasec88 First world problems D:

  • This video helped my game decrease 10 strokes and on a good day, more.

  • I aimed for the start of the fairway, and I hit it there =(

  • I aimed for the start of the fairway, and I hit it there =(

  • Paul: You beast.

  • Yeah, I've been guilty of trying to smash the driver at targets that I can never realistically reach! So tomorrow I will aim for something more closer to me, perhaps that will make me relax!

  • Hello Paul, I have been watching your video's and have found them to be very helpful :-) Would you make a video for how to aim your puttter and how to read greens. My short game is getting better and when my new driver arrives im sure my tee distances will improve, but like most things i'm lacking in the putting department. cheers

  • One hell of a golf teacher.Keep it up.

  • @SuperTazz1011 First of all it's FAGGOT not FAGGET and for someone not being able to spell it is a FAGGOT. OMG THAT'S YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HA HA HA HA fuckin' retard.

  • Awesome advice - thank you!

  • I have watched all of these videos and this is my first real season playing the game. Before watching this I was shooting about 110 or so and the other day I broke 100 for the first time!!!Thanks so much for all of your tips. I have told everyone about you that gets frustrated by the game..thanks again!!!

  • This has to be one of the best tips ever, because it teaches us to go beyond the mechanics of the swing. I am the player who tries to "kill" the ball, and then is searching for it somewhere in the marsh. His tip makes the swing simple, using the knowledge we already possess with a more flexible spaghetti like motion. I will definitely try it next time at the course, aiming to a closer spot ahead of the tee box instead of trying to get to the green from one shot. Excellent!!!

  • Paul, what kind of shaft are you gaming in your driver?

  • Not making the ball "point B" makes a lot of sense; what exactly should I make my point B that I should swing to? Thank you.

  • It's hard to see a leaf from 250 yards away.

  • that's quite a nice Tag

  • Good mental thoughts to consider..i like the last one of thinking only a consistent swing thought that works..but u didn't mention it...it must be the knees touching each other..thanks

  • Wonderful ! Very good advice.

  • you say too much

  • How can a video have 57,392 views in one week with only 5 likes, no dislikes and one comment?

  • @Pianopod Embedded play? I think they use youtube from their site. Most of us get these off an email that takes us to their site to watch them.
