Their masks are part of their style and performance. Why do the Blue Man Group paint themselves blue? For me the masks also make it more noticable when they are doing synchronized moves with individual variations. It's just plain cool.

The masks where what the three muskies ( KB, Joe larot and phil tayag) used to wear, and then when jabbawockeez was formed, they interpreted this idea into them. The masks original were a tribute to media sirkus. It helps us see the dance as a whole. JABBAWOCKEEZ FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why get pissed off just because you don't know why they wear masks? They wear them to symbolize that they are ONE whenever they perform. Their individuality is nothing compared to how strong their bond is as a team and, more importantly, as friends. In some crews, there's always a person who gets more cheers like Mike Song (Kaba Modern), Mariel Martin (Choreo Cookies), Jackie Lautchang (SoReal Cru), Shaun Evaristo (The Company), but with Jabba, the crowd cheers for the whole crew, not a person.

One of them said that wearing the mask makes them like a Marionette of the Music they dance to. It's like they became one with the music instead of them just dancing with the music.
