  • If there is a goal... It should count! Tacnology? -Of cource!

  • Good dicision the whole ball didnt cross the line

  • Dude ! Dont even try to make videos like this you cant even seee a thing!

  • the most stupid video!!

  • shit!!! this video shit

  • The first one was in.

  • fuck this....its frinkin soccer!

  • the ref of the man utd - spurs match was surely bought

  • @CrackinCrew

    don't blame Carroll

some goalkeepers are naturally talented at saving balls that has crossed the line

  • put sensors on the goal line and make a sound when it goes over the line in referees ear

  • roy carroll, nuff said but i dont think it should be implemented into football as i think it wud ruin the game, sure it is annoying sometimes and can save your team other times but as ThePLstaysinManchest said it would take the excitement from the game

  • ref's have the decision so garcias goal WAS!!!

  • i dont think they shud coz footy wud be borin without contraversial decisions, it takes all the excitment out of the game

  • Its just goal line.

You get controversial subs, cards, positions, player behaviour, free kicks, offsides, throw ins, corners, managers... etc etc

Just Fundamentally making sure that its clear when the ball is OVER the line should be key as football is a multi billion pound industry where all people aim to do is put the ball over the line. surely just have that you can keep all the rest of you controversy cant you?

  • all r difficult to make a decision except 2:11 stupid dicision

  • with garcias goal it wouldnt make 2 much of a difference we would of hd a penalty and cech sent off if it didnt go over the line so i dont matter really and it doesnt matter if the ref cant see it go oer that should be the linesmens job no excuse for it!

  • the first goal was a goal because the tournament took place in england. If it didn't it wouldn't be a goal!!!!!!!STUPID ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!111

  • So? The referee's weren't English lol... they decide whether it was a goal.

  • mendez goal was definately in you bunch of smeg eads

  • yeah well bein a liverpool fan i think the ball was over the line i think personally it was now as sonderby says all chelsea had to do was score a goal now yeah aginst liverpool in the champions league yeah it is tough bu in the end the better team won tha game the semi finals and the european cup !!!

  • even the commentator thinks the ball is over the line for the garcia goal... and regardless it should have been a penalty and a red card, and chelsea still just needed to score 1 goal and couldn't. The better team won that game

  • the hurst goal was clearly in. doesn't matter anyway as we scored another after

  • whole ball has to be over the line and clearly it wasnt

  • ive never seen a person call someone a bellend

  • ur a bellend, ha now u have

  • im english... hurst... no goal, garcia... goal, carrol mistake,, goal

  • hurst, no goal... garcia, no goal... carroll mistake, goal. Hurst's did not cross the line fully, Garcia's "goal" never got to the line, let alone over it, Carroll's mistake is clearly a goal

  • What fuck the ball so did get to the line and over for garcia goal are blind or something.

  • the ref didnt see it properly so thought it was a goal... this is why we need goal line technology coz cock ups like that are not repeated

  • besides the fact that this video sucks ass (the quality)...

In order to be a goal, the ball must completely and wholy across over the line. not partially, the entire ball.

  • oy productions???? fuck off u bellend. fucking wasteman.

  • nice quality u fuck y would u even post this up ur a fuck up

  • Should proper video technology be implemented so we can see the video?

  • whoever made this is an idiot, shit quality and garcia's for liverpool was a goal

    super shit vid

    helmet

  • ball must cross over the line completely... Garcia's never got to the line (proven by every single newspaper covering the story the day after the game

  • bollocks

  • What fuck the ball so did get to the line and over for garcia goal are blind or something.

  • the ref didnt see it properly so thought it was a goal... this is why we need goal line technology coz cock ups like that are not repeated

  • no,it would ruin the beutiful game

  • you fucking git how can you hate the ref hoo gave england the world cup?prick

  • I think that goal mouth technology should be implemented and that captains should be able to refer decisions. However, I think that there should be rule where, if you make an incorrect referal, you should not be allowed to make any more referrals in the rest of the game.

I use the fact that the system has worked well in other sports as basis for my opinion.

  • half of them are correct decisions dumb cunt.

  • first one isn't a goal because the whole ball wasn't completely over the line

  • you cant see a shit

  • i bet a scouse mad this casue it is shit

  • That was a goal.

  • dumb quality

  • yes m8,completly agree with you.all the other descisions could be excused but that carroll 1 was a disgrace.that linesman didnt need goal line tech, just didnt need to take the money off ferguson b4 the game.

  • YES!

  • y the fuxk is luis garcia in there !?|!?!?!??!?! THAT WAS 100% A GOAL

  • can somebody tell me the title of first song??

  • Wtf The Liverpool v chelsea match was well over the line by luis garcia an if it wasnt it would of been a penalty so that was a good deceison to be a goal like lol !

  • Uhm if your speaking english then why play non-english songs (GAY'S!)

  • i couldent even see one game there :S:S:S

  • It was a good idea to do this video, but the quality of the video is really poor

  • THe Liverpool vs CHelsea game has been bitched about by Chelsea fans for ages. Simple fact, if it's NOT a goal then it is a Penalty and Cech is sent off.

  • why bother including a game (liv vs che) that you cant even see?

  • "Wholly over the goal line, under the crossbar and between the posts"

    That's what a goal is.

  • Englands 3rd goal was clearly wrong; but it wasn't a "stupid" decision.

The ball thunders off the crossbar, onto the line and spins back out in about 0.2 seconds. It even took 30 years for video evidence to prove it hadnt crossed the line!

It was a WRONG decision; but you can't claim the ref is stupid! He doesnt have super zoom in cameras that this video had, the ref didnt have 42 seconds to make his decision, let alone 42 years!

  • you silly man

  • I used 3 paragraphs to intelligently explain my point. You used one sentence without explaining what your point was (a single sentence without a capital letter or a full stop I might add).

So who is the "silly man"?

What exactly do you disagree with? There *is* a difference between a STUPID decision and a WRONG decision. The '66 "goal" was wrong but if, you, me or anyone else had been the ref we'd have a good chance of giving it because it happened that quick.

  • oh when will the sillyness end

  • A sentence isn't a paragraph. Its just that... a sentence.

And it wasn't an intelligent remark. Just common sense.

  • Dear God - where did that come from?

I am aware a sentence isnt a paragraph. I was drawing a comparison with the quality of my message to the quality of his. I was prepared to articulate myself via 3 paragraphs. He was prepared to offer 1 sentence.

Anyway it is possible to intelligently explain to someone less educated something that one might consider to be "common sense". For an example of this please refer to the 2nd paragraph of this message.

  • how can you say that he is less educated just from 3 words that he wrote on a youtube video?

  • as a german i should say YES....but i dont! NO is the correct answer. Would there be any mystic goals ever again? Let it be! It is good how it is right now

  • the ball has to be fully over the line or no goal. if you dont no dat, u dont no anything about the game.

  • lmao noo , the rule is, if any of the ball is still over the line, it will not be a goal, wether its 1cm on the line, it will not be a goal. has to be all the ball.

  • I am a reff. And the full ball has to be over the line. There is no Fifa rule stating that only part of the ball must be over it. It is and always will be the full ball.

  • No, commentators always say the whole of the ball has to cross the whole of the line.

  • Whilst thats true I wouldnt use commentators / pundits as a reliable source of information on football.

They are p*ss poor as a general rule.

  • @doopy128 u fool thats totally not how football is played. think u need to read the rules

  • in response to your question...while one part of me wants goal-line technology since its been invented now...the other part doesn't because it's something that will always lead to arguments and discussions about football...and thats all part of the fun of watching the beautiful game

  • lol wtf STUPID decisions?

the first clip shown is from the 1966 World Cup Final! they didn't have goal-line technology then. football (soccer) has always been based on the referees opinion, especially before the technology was invented. you can't call that decision stupid (plus we beat the bloody Germans! :)

as for the second goal...have you seen ANY of the virtual replays of that goal? all the graphics say it was a goal. liverpool deserved to win that semi-final chelsea were sh1t

    YNWA LFC!

  • actually when liverpool beat chels at the bridge they showed replays from it it didnt go over the line andy gray prooved it lol

  • that was at anfield

  • lol my bad

  • the whole ball has to cross the WHOLE line not PART of the line

  • I definatly believe that goaline technology should be used. Nice vid.

  • yeah

  • all of these were goals ..and was that gerrard who scored from halfway

  • No, I think it was mendez :)

  • no, it was mendes :)

  • Yep, only goal line tech... cameras in posts, it would be so fair! But only that!!! we dont want football to be so dependant on technology and looking like the so called "American Football"... Sometimes controversies are one of the things that make football special....

    Gj on the vid man!

  • Yeh I agree, only cameras on the insides of the posts or better yet a laser type technology that knows when the ball has crossed the line because of a micro-chip inside the ball itself. The referee hears the "beep" in his ear and gives the goal accordingly. :D (I heard they were already doing that).

  • @Javiermora5 or like in tennis - they have programs, what makes their decision more easier

  • I think there should be (YES!!!) cuz that wud shut up controversy about close goals!
