I've had mixed views about this guy overall. I think he's gotten a lot of hype for some minor tricks that really weren't that impressive or especially difficult for any decent pianist (playing a fairly simple piece blindfolded, for example.)

However, I do have to give him due props for this. I think he did a phenomenal job. I hope he keeps this up.

martin is good...but i think he shall try to create his own music instead of playing music who is already maid(Y)...iv'e played piano seens i was 4 years old and don't think it's to hard to play any of those songs "blindfolded" =)

In fact it's not! I also play since I was 5 years old, but Martin plays good and expressive. We can both play the same or better, but you know.. we apreciate a lot of pianists (I can apreciate you too!) and Martin is one of us who plays good music!

I feel that Martin should make a personal video of him playing this medley so that the sound quality is better. In my opinion, this particular performance is one of the best masterpieces he has up his sleeve. It truly has a little bit of everything.

ZyFeZ, I think Yoshi was getting at the fact that unlike a pop/rock concert, in classical concerts it's generally more respectful to remain quiet until the end.

However Yoshi, Final Fantasy is a type of music which is very popular amongst a cult following, so the lines between the formal and informal get blurred - it's understandable why the audience want to shout and clap as they do. There's no right or wrong way to act in a concert like this, So long as people enjoy themselves!

Yeah but they have the courtesy of being quiet while she performed so people can actually hear the music. After she finished everyone that watched went crazy with shouting, screaming, and clapping. But they did this after she performed, not rudely during the performance where they slightly cover her up.

But everyone was really exited, even Martin(the pianist), you can see him smiling during the claps, really cool =D
