I like the shield but not very impressed with the Gdiaper flushable liners. I was searching the alternative solution and found this video. Great solution. Thanks.
This was sooooo helpful! I didn't want to buy more gCloths because they're so expensive (I bought one pack.) But those prefolds seem to fit better than the gCloths!
This really does work very well, this is what we do for day, even out of the house (with a wet bag). Sooo much cheaper than the flushable liners that cost more than disposable diapers. We had problems with leaking at night though because as I added cloth the waterproof liner no longer held close to the skin. We have 4 fitted cotton diapers that we use in a night rotation with a wool cover over top, we have not had one leak in the 3 months since using.
What is the BRAND of that prefold?

Do you put a doubler or a 2nd prefold in for overnight?

Does it hold urine and poo as well as the flushable liners?

I think it does! I find that it works better because the flushies bunch up and the pre-folds don't.

what size is that prefold and what type is it?
Cosasbebe1 2 years ago
It's an infant pre-fold from Cotton Babies. It fits perfectly inside a medium or large gDiaper! For smalls, I recommend preemie pre-folds.
