I was so surprised to find this within the collection of video's! Love Paramore and this is one of the favourite songs.. flawless performance Steve.. brilliant!
@KiNkSTaKaTeY Ha ha! :o) Thank you Katey. Just having some fun. Far from perfect, but thanks so much for that compliment! It's appreciated. Keep singing girl!!!
That's awesome ....What is your set it's amazing I have a TD-9.How long have you been playing?I've been playing for 6 years on and off I'm 16.Any tips how to improve I know it's just practice practice practice.I also would like to know how you incorporate the drums so well into the song with drum covers and how do you take the drums out of the songs I have no idea for my covers. Thanks my names Jimmy.
@jadeagles20 Thanks! This was a TD-20 kit back when I played it about a year 1/2 ago. My new kit is different, but still uses a TD-20x controller. I've been playing for almost 2 years after a 20+ year break. Practice perfectly and build speed slowly. That will develop muscle-memory. I found some drummless tracks on the Web. With the others I just try to notch-out the original drums as best I can with EQ. But it's never perfect. After I record, I just sync my drum track over the original song.
@maximumdrumz Yeah, newer artists deliver fresh creativity and energy, and I like that. I'm older than some, younger than others - :o) Thanks for commenting!
Hey - thanks for watching and for your comments. I appreciate that. Traditional grip feels very natural for me, cause that's what I learned a long time ago. But German or French matched grip does offer benefits depending upon the type/style of music. Been working on matched grip, so we'll see how it goes months from now. :)
My sister listens alot to this band :) They are very good =P So is this cover steve ! Awsome playing . You have great feel and spot on timing ! 1000* from me

4wheeledfreedom 2 years ago
Thanks! I studied music years ago, but I rarely play to sheet music or tabs. I just listen to a song, and then play it the way I feel it. :)

Great cover and sound but that trad grip looks really awkward and holds you back from more explosive action than you're really capable of.
