2003-2005 are the ABSOLUTE BEST GSXR YEARS, Ive owned an 04, got rid of it for the new 10, they ride completely different, the new bikes feel like they are riding on air ride suspension, older bikes give you the feeling of the road. Nothing like actually feeling a little rumble in your ass going down the highway at 170. BRAIN ORGASIM!!
The best looking years for the gsxr are from 04-09. I have an 06 750 and I love it like a fat kid loves cake :-0. Somebody please help me understand why the new GSXR's are so f'ing ugly. Maybe I just have to stare at them a little longer. Suzuki please take it back to the drawing board.
i love this bike. mine is identical. except i have a jardine slip on mine and it idles a bit louder and sounds more aggresive towards higher rpms. rides like a dream though:)
In my oppinion, the 750s look soo much better then the 1000,s do. I think the 750 has a better power to weight ratio to. but the motor of the 1000 is awsome! Its soo hard to make a choice. =(. Maby ill just get a 750 in this colour then boar it out to a 1000 =P
nah..the 750 is a little more than the 600. I used to own the CBR600RR 07 and they even gave me the GSXR 750 as a courtesy bike when some old lady thought she would hit me at a junction as they had no 600 cc's left . I was referring to the difference between the 750 & 1000 CC...the insurance is a huge jump lol. Much more then from 600 - 750...continued...
I am 30 with 3 years experience and I pay £1100 TPFT for the K7 1000. 750 would be like £500 ish. If your thinking of choosing between the 600 and 750 then without hesitation I would recommend the 750...it's far superior. The extra torque is handy although not ridiculous like the 1000's & manageble (the 1000will still power wheelie in like3rd/4th gear)....
...and it has the same handling as the 600cc (more or less). The insurance isn't allot different to the 600 and you will go faster on the 750 and with less effort. 600 cc bikes need to be squeezed to get any real power out of them (6000 rpm +) whilst 1000's are so torquey that you can easily give it too much...750's are a nice mix of toruque and handling I think. My next bike will be a 750 (yes down from the 1000 :0) If you want a ragging machine....go for the 750 mate :)
@29Gixxer thank you for all this great advice!!!i have one year of riding experiance and not many people outhere actcually give me a detailed explanation, so thank you very much!! and i hope you got my reply from the msg
i ride the same bike and i love it if you got a good deal on it get it... really nice but kinda hard to find a muffler for this thing but thats the only downer in the bike. seriously!
I had the 1000 K7 but I had a 750 K7 to ride for a few months and I proffered the 750. My 1000 had a full 2 brothers system but i found it was just way too torqy for the roads. The 750 has the correct balance of handling and power I think.
Be careful though bud. 1000's are highly nickable due to pikeys using their engines in cars. No shit, my Gixxer was nicked off my drive in broad daylight!
You need to refull

I'm currently debating on whether to get another 1000 or 750. Despite of what I just sais the thou has the WOW factor.
I also found the induction noise on the 750 was better due to the revs.
29Gixxer 2 years ago
dude if u have oportunity and love bikes just get it its just an awesome-killer BIKE!
Some pro riders say yamaha has some better preformance but its not even close nice as suzuki gsxr
