Very nice Shane. I don't know why you feel you've been a jerk and need to apologize but it takes courage to admit when you've been wrong and that's the first step in making real changes. When we treat others with love, kindness and respect that's the kind of responses we generally get in return. We all have to deal with negative and selfish people sometimes. Try to stay focused on the positive people and things in your life and don't let the negative people or things bring you down.

In fact I'm surrounded by the most genuine people on Earth, and usually everything is fine, but these days I haven't been very lovely because I was depressed and I treated everyone so badly, but I didn't get negative reaction from my sweet friends/family. I was the bad guy! =]
