  • its called a monolith

  • LOL, I don't know if you meant to do this, but the acronym for mobile area denial base is M.A.D Base

  • I actually tried to do it another way so it wouldn't be that but finaly said what the hell its appropreate I think:)!

  • @terrainaholic lol, it is very appropriate.

  • Just like in the up-coming game commander & conquer 4 with the mobile bases.

  • thats a really cool concept - i really like this idea for 40k - could make a chasis for bastion kits

  • looks like an ATAT from starwars

  • realy cool and very intresting man love the idea of the walking base thing i can't wait to see how it turns out man take care bro!

  • sounds like somethink used if it is to diffidult/danges to set up a normal base

  • very interesting

yet i don't believe that your quite a big enough star wars nerd to kinda get it going

  • diggin the schematics, i trust your judgement in ANY design, itll look awesome!! haha

  • Pretty cool.

First thing that popped in my head for 40k was orks. The squigoths, have one of them instead of center legs & have the outer legs have wheels on the bottom.

If I were rich I'd do it but, at several hundred per gargantuan squigoth, it's a way too much.

  • That is very good i want to see it built if you do...

  • Really like the idea. Not too crazy about the legs though makes its seem a little top heavy. What about using centipede style legs that were on the Clone Troopers' mobile heavy artillery. I think they were called SPHA-T walkers. These walkers are in Episode II taking down a Trade Federation ship trying to take off from Genosis. Also, I think it would be cool if one of the pieces was a mobile repair station for large vehicles like AT-TEs.

  • Very nice Bill!

May I make a suggestion though? For the ammo dumb vehicle(s), you either wanna do something that can zip around to whatever mobile building that needs it, or each mobile vehicle have its own ammo cache. Only reason I suggest this is because it might be trouble some if you run out of ammo and your ammo cache is half way across the battle field...Not a good thing. :D

  • i could see this on some sort of Beach attack... the long legs made me think of it. like wading up onto the shore raining hell on the enemy. and as for using in game. perhaps making it like a 'flat titan' (40k) but make flat surfaces so that models can board and fight... essentially making it terrain but with guns and various equipment. another great idea from the power of Bill 8D

  • Mûmakil were basically living fortresses.

  • COOL WORK BILL

  • oh looking good man can´t wait to see that live, btw how´s the titan project goin? :), keep up ur work man, as you always do :P

  • Good luck taking that down with a snowspeeder:)

  • lol\
