These people have stylist that the record companies hire to give them an image. I, too, worked in this video. If memory serves, Chico sabotaged his career and this project by getting caught on drug charges shortly after production wrapped up. Don't know if this video even made it on the air. Was defintely a gay, low budget vid even for those days

love this song, although talk to me was his best. the reason he is embarassed of his 80's work is because that is the typical sell-out remark when an artist wants to make a comeback(mandy moore said the same thing about how "embarrassed" she was over her 1st album)

I second that emotion! Don't know why no one has release a professional done video compilation on Chico. His songs my not have been played on the radio but his videos were major hits. And granted, his later releases a decade later were awsome, I love his 80s ones as well, like "Talk To Me" and "Girl Next Door." Wish they would have done a video one of his hottest singles ever "Rainy Nights" but with modern technology mybe they will.

Although Chico claims to be embarrassed of his 80s work, his pre prison days ultimate boy toy image was hot. And if they ever release an ultimate video collection the three early releases should be included. Naturally this would be controversial but then again for the naive ones who know nothing of 80s style and images, Chico can just let them think that these androgenous 80's videos were one of the main reasons he went to jail in the first place (smile).
