I just bought a 2001 Lincoln Continental. I love it, awesome car.

The Continental and the Crown Vic aren't very similar. It's the Town Car that is like a cousin or sibling to the Vic. Continental is FWD and is built on the D186 platform as is the Taurus and Sable, while the Town Car, Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, and Marauder on built on the Panther platform.
