There's beautiful Minnesota, and there's various pockets of ghetto and crime basically in Minneapolis and some surrounding suburbs, like Brooklyn Center & Brooklyn Park.
It's weird how you can be in one part of Minneapolis with million dollar homes on the lakes, drive five minutes east and now you're in a place you wouldn't want to be in alone after dark.

I live in Woodbury now ~ but was born & raised on the great East Side ~ we still go down to Payne and Arcade and the bars there to kick it with old friends. Miss the days when my husband lived above the Arcade Bar ~ damn did we have fun (and never had to worry bout driving home cuz you just walked upstairs!)
