theres another person inside the store at the window you cant see him and when David puts the newspaper up to the window and makes pretend hes reaching through the glass the person inside is in the corner by the window and reaches down and takes the watch off the shelf making it appear to be his. The original trick is done with 2 watches- 1 on display, 1 stolen from her with the first card trick (his hand on wrists), then he just puts his hand in newspaper and shows the watch on him, the watch on display stays there for the 2 guys- still a good trick. Then they edit the 2'nd watch with TV magic :)

@capnbly7 You ALMOST got it right. there isn't another person in the store: he uses optical illusion with the bystanders, while the watch is at him the whole time- he stole it with the trick before ( his hands are on her wrists the hole trick ). Then he calls her to come closer, so she won't see the other side of the store, and he just gets the watch from his hand. The hand is edited then into it with the magic of television- it's not his hand, and it's a bad edit- bare hand, bigger then his :D

The glass window moves from left to right exposing a hole for him to reach through. That's why he holds up the newspaper to misdirect their attention and conceal the hole that moves out, and he stands very close to the left side so they can't see the hole when it comes out from that side.
