I remember if it got dark outside I spent the night at her mothers or I had an escort to walk me to my ride lol Wedo con Cojones. Can you get killed by violence YES but you can get killed anywhere in the world by violence there are however thresholds and this city is tame. I have lived my entire 34 years in El Paso and passed through here morning and middle of the night my whole life, there is no violence, El Paso is one of the safest places to live in the world, and there is not one single place in this entire area from far west El Paso all the way through to the east side and outer areas that I would not be one second afraid to walk or drive or sit on a bench and relax and enjoy the area, and I amWhite

It no longer is a dangerous area; It's a historic neighborhood filled with people of all races primarily Mexican American, and has quite a collection of beautifull murals and is rich in history. It's not a violent area...
