@Gemusician What can I say, I jumped from tabs to Rocksmith and now I write down all my music in the form of color coded fret numbers and signs for bends and junk, lol... I can identify the notes on a staff but the note duration symbols get me, I can't time that junk out in my head. I just gotta hear it.
Very nice... I've just started posting videos on how to play some tasty licks on my channel: "daguitargeek" if anyone wants to check it out. FREE lessons for all :)
Hello Truefire! I have a question that is kinda technique related. Ive been for a long time just playing guitar, no practicing, therefore my technique is just bad, really bad. Now for the last year and a half Ive been just practicing, rarely to play, but my improvement seems to be very slow. Is this like normal, if I practice alot? Between 4-6 h/day.
the blues is as much an emotional experience as it is a physical one maybe even more so its not enuf to know what notes to play its why they have to be played or maybe theres a diffrence between the blues and blues rock?
Money scheme? He *should* get paid. He obviously put a bunch of work & effort into making these videos. And TrueFire video lessons are *way* cheap....er....I mean "inexpensive"... :-)
oh come on man. this is nothing more then a money scheme. you have to pay for thesee videos? Why not spread the word for free. the guitar manufacturing companies would love that because their saids would go up. or maybe lower your price per lesson. but really the guitar sails prices should go down too. because for example Gibson guitars are WAY OVER PRICED. or well all of the guitar makes are over priced.
@CoDPlayer420 you don't know how business works. This is a service...this guy did a lot of work to make these and he should be reimbursed for all his work.
I bought the ipad version of the jazz & blues packages, but don't have an ipad :(

Its funny! The most guitarrists are completely ignorant about reading a sheet music.

@515742617000027
That's Led Zeppeling 4 sure! In fact, it's the ending part of the solo in Whole Lotta Love.
( u got good auditory memory!)
If u like, check out my own interpretation of this solo. It's not that accurate yet, but I'm working on it.

@markushalfmad Whole Lotta Love is track n°1 in Led Zeppelin II

Used to love SRV...but I just hate his guitar sound,I
find it really annoying.It sounds too smooth & round
due to the fact he used I think size 0.13 strings.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
