@ScuderiaBull yes for sure.cam shaft is steering the valves.or better to say it steers how far and how long they get opened.so u change the compression into the engine and amount of gas and air floating in.that makes more horsepower and a different sound.an easy and not too expensive way to get a bit more power out of it.
@ScuderiaBull ABSOLUTEY!..get 2 identical base engines and throw together a high lift long duration cam ands its just a totally different sound, feel and car...our Australian made1969/70 Falcon GTHO Phase 2 was a good example...start up a Fairlane with a 351 Windsor next to it ...and you cant believe they are the same basic engine. Compression makes a big difference too but high comp alone (say 12.5:1 compared to 10:1) wont make the car sound sooooo different. I preferred Sig Erson cams myself
Awesome car but the engine sounds like it needs a tune up or a new idle speed Controller . But the HEMI was never intended to run on idle , it was made for going fast all the time on a nascar course
nothing but idle, one little fast pedel jump, and the one video you show the car moving you cant hear it, and your flying down country roads with blind driveways coming out at you.
I would love to have the camera set at ground level, toward the rear corner, and just let the car start, and run for a while. similar to the position at about :12 seconds in, only lower. I think this is the best sounding car ever!
