hahahaha i love the talk about vagueness in japanese, your polite way is so awesome i will have to use it XD
i like the word お手洗い (otearai) for bathroom, total euphemism XD

@mimei pfff indeedy but I would never use the word "otearai" because it has a very different connotation--it can mean "water closet" (bathroom), but more or less is associated with the traditional Japanese toilet--which is NOT fun to pee in >.>

@kazukorin49 lol fair enough but unfortunately you can't avoid traditional japanese toilets in japan :) plus most public bathrooms have both.
@mimei it's why people hand out hankerchiefs everywhere--public toilets are not stocked with toilet paper >.>
