I know I'm really late on commenting on this, but it's really pissing me off seeing Sam and Jason not at least CONSIDER the possibility that Sam wasn't really raped and Franco was just toying with him. I mean, even in her account of what happened to Michael, Sam made it seem like Jason watched an actual rape, when that was NOT what happened. Are we supposed to be made to believe that it really did happen and they just didn't wanna show it? That's the only thing I can guess at this point.

I wish people would stop bashing the writers for different s/l's. There are people who like each one, since every viewer is different. If they cater to only one viewer/group's preference, then they lose a lot of people.
I love the Sonny and Kate s/l. It gives me background on both characters and it's making Sonny's life more realistic. She's making him do the only thing that can start his healing, which is facing his demons.
@walkingmiracle I am starting to come around and enjoy these story lines. I like the build up. I also like that someone finally tried to ambush Sonny and Jason. Love the accountant though! He can't die.... again..... oh... that was his twin brother Benny. LOL Not only do I not want him to die, I want him to have a story line!

Soap Operas are about drama. Sonny and Kate need to go home and deal with some of it. Being able to watch GH on youtube gives me the chance to just skip over their scenes.

I have to say, I used to think of Michael as some spoiled, punk ass kid, but he's really grown on me lately. I think the writers developed his character really well. I hate to say it, but it was around the time of the Franco/Carter rape s/l that I started actually liking his character. @porklab There's no such thing as a character that doesn't have backstory. There is simply no way for writers to give viewers/readers every single thing that ever happened to a character. There isn't that kind of time. People were complaining because Garin Wolf was taking time to tell s/ls. Then people complain because they don't get to SEE everything. It is not possible! We suspend disbelief ALL THE TIME in soap land. When we don't, it's not because we can't. It's because we don't want to. JMO
@50patrice I agree that all characters need a back story. I actually like Kate. I even like the idea of Kate and Sonny. I also like that they are visiting Sonnys childhood past and getting more deep into what lead him to where he is. Im just saying that I think the whole "remember when" is too much for me. Not that its not necessary, because I think both their past and his past need to connect.
Although I didn't care for the actress who portrayed Abby, I have a weird feeling they might put Sam with Michael. I really hope not, but with what both of them went through and Sam can't talk to Jason. She might lean on Michael and it might start out innocent, but think it will end badly.

It is also refreshing to watch him in a positive give and take relationship with a strong woman, who for all her success and strength, freely admits her wrongs and demons. Its balanced. And the last scene, where he broke the window and they made a run for it . . . LOL! Classic, cute, and sweet. This's the first time in forever I've actually wanted 2 watch Sonny.

They are freinds so he was trying to look out for her and get her to understand what she was doing, because when it backfires on her she will run to Matt.. or the new doc. I think its great that we are seeing what his turmoil has been all these years, and finally putting it to rest.

I wish they could put Lucky and Liz together, but heard JJ is leaving, so I think they will place her with the Aussie doctor.
He probably will tell her that her relationship with Lucky is toxic or something clinical to that. And a few months later she probably will be with the doctor.

I have a feeling that they are going to make Lucky out to be the bad guy in this scenario with Liz. Liz manipulated the situation, Lucky bought into, Liz is all happy and once again, hes gonna leave and break her heart.....again!! and then its gonna be another poor Liz story. I wish Lucky would stop coming back.. He should actually listen to Matt!!

I could handle the Sonny/Kate story if they stopped going down memory lane on things that were never shown on canvas. It makes it hard to believe in the story and get behind it, for me anyway.
Im glad Jason heard Sam, he needed to hear that. But at the same time, hes anger is much more than just Franco. Franco is the one setting it off.

@porklab - I have to agree with you 100%. There is absolutely no way anyone like myself can fully invest in this Sonny/Kate relationship when it's all made up. And I mean ALL OF IT. This is the most unrealistic relationship I've ever seen on GH. Like someone else said -- "seriously? Sonny now playd in the band in HIGH SCHOOL and ice skated? GMAFB....". lol!

@porklab There's no such thing as a character that doesn't have backstory. There is simply no way for writers to give viewers/readers every single thing that ever happened to a character. There isn't that kind of time. People were complaining because Garin Wolf was taking time to tell s/ls. Then people complain because they don't get to SEE everything. It is not possible! We suspend disbelief ALL THE TIME in soap land. When we don't, it's not because we can't. It's because we don't want to. JMO

@50patrice I agree that all characters need a back story. I actually like Kate. I even like the idea of Kate and Sonny. I also like that they are visiting Sonnys childhood past and getting more deep into what lead him to where he is. Im just saying that I think the whole "remember when" is too much for me. Not that its not necessary, because I think both their past and his past need to connect.

Although I didn't care for the actress who portrayed Abby, I have a weird feeling they might put Sam with Michael. I really hope not, but with what both of them went through and Sam can't talk to Jason. She might lean on Michael and it might start out innocent, but think it will end badly.

@ShajneSmith I'm in the minority with you. I find it positively refreshing to have Sonny re-visit what created him and work at healing. It is also refreshing to watch him in a positive give and take relationship with a strong woman, who for all her success and strength, freely admits her wrongs and demons. Its balanced. And the last scene, where he broke the window and they made a run for it . . . LOL! Classic, cute, and sweet. This's the first time in forever I've actually wanted 2 watch Sonny.
