Mary's father is played by John Vernon, who apparently plays commanding characters like that quite often. The mother is Diane Ladd who played the hysterical waitress in "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" (also the mother of Laura Dern), and Darrell Larson is Chris.
hm.... i noticed that they really only used "kids" in Hansel and Gretel. You would htink they'd use kids in this one too... but i guess since theres kissing in it they should be older... lol... =)
well I think it's just to represent how her parents still treat her like a little girl so and they don't teach her how an older woman should act so she acts like a little girl
Well, in the original story Red Riding hood isn't a young kid, but a teenager. In fact the wolf tells her to take off her clothing and to get into bed with him.
@GirlintheMask421 It was more about getting really good actors than getting kids. Most of the people in these shows are noteworthy actors from the time period. I don't mind as long as they play their part well. I watched Goldilocks before this one and I could easily believe she was the little brat she pretended to be even if the women playing her was older. ^_^
