Hello, this question could be quiet stupid but I'm a noob. How can I get the IPSW version 4.1 for an iPhone 1g? I mean the highest version for an iPhone 1g is 3.1.3. Thank you very much.

I followed the iREB 4.1 RC 2 Instructions, the only thing was different from the instructions was that I did not get a red or white screen it remained black, but I got the notice from the program that my iphone was pwnaged. But I still got the 1646 error.

Sn0wbreeze 2.1 is the newest one. I think you should try that version.

1) Hold buttons sleep + home untill iPhone turns off;

2) Open iTunes;

3) Hold home button and plug the phone to your computer. The phone will turn on and the iTunes + Arrow + cable screen will appear.;

4) iTunes will recover you phone from unsuccessful recovery process.

jailbreak 4.1 doesnt upgrade the baseband for the signal you should have gone to c drive windows system 32 then drivers select etc and copied and pasted host info to put into the jailbreak which is the ip server info hence why the iphone now thinks its not activated hence no signal

ik heb hem net met recovery mode gehersteld en er komt software uitpakken en dan staat ie op voorbereiden maar daar doet ie heel lang over en dan komt er een fout: De Ipod kan niet worden hersteld. Er heeft zich een onbekende fout voorgedaan (1604)
