does anyone from kitchenaidtv ever come on here and answer the consumers questions? i'm having the same problem as you are kdwyer100 and i can't seem to find an remedy for my problem anywhere.
My mixer head also wobbles and bobbs. The white is coating on the bottom of the beater has worn off. I have tighten this screw that you mentioned (but it was tight) and another screw under the head when it is tilted back. That did not help either. Any suggestions?

I have mine for 20 years, never had a rocking mixer. But this is good to know for the next 20 years.
