There's an interesting Northern Ontario style. Up until you get to Timmins it's French or Ottawa valley like. Above Timmins it's crooked and Scottish styled. Also, the northern part of the East Coast sounds more Irish. I could be wrong. What's your opinion.
April, you are very talented. I love listening to you play. I enjoyed hearing your commentary and learning about the Canadian styles. If you get the opportunity, comment more on the Metis style. Often, to me, it sounds close to some bluegrass.
Love your playing and this was so helpful. Wish somebody would do the same for Irish fiddle styles.
