Dont think its supercharged, if anything the VTEC engagement point has probably been lowered as it seems to kick in around 4500rpm, my civic MB6 VTi doesnt kick in until 5800rpm. The sound may be an induction kit?

Hmm. this civic is faster than mines, but i got a vid also of my 8th Gen civic R18 coupe, walking the same body style prelude, but the prelude i raced has the F20 is what he told me, or some kinda hybrid H22 engine with cold air, headers, full exhaust and Hondata fuel maps upgrade and i walked him about with the same like this civic did in this vid, and i only got a cold air intake. Beat the prelude before my cold air and after.

hahaha. I do love the sound though. It isn't a supercharger just very high RPM I believe. The driver is smart enough to keep the RPM up there since that is where all his power comes from. Honda made a good engine.
