  • Is the effect of consuming too much carbohydrates the same as calories?

  • Hello, I hope it's okay that I use fragments of this film in a biology-presentation in my class next week. Very nice 3D models of carbonhydrates! Thanks for sharing knowledge :)

  • it's condensation reaction because it removes a water molecule. It's not dehydration reactions lol

  • 4:12 "Marine mammals such as seals, sea lions and walruses lack alpha-lactalbumin and as a consequence their milk is lacking in lactose and has a very high fat and protein content instead." (Wiley)

  • thank you so much for the video!. I am going to do a report about carbohydrates and i dont know where to start. Great help!

  • Thanks, great video :)

  • Watching these videos, makes it pretty clear, basically rebukes the outlandish thought, of every atom in our body being the result of exploding stars or that we are the result of that very first mud puddle...from nothing. To believe in evolution, especially after watching these videos, is like asking a demolitionist to be accountable for every dust particle from every job he/she does; ludicrous! Don't be deceived. God is very real. FREE eBook at (you are worth it dot com)

  • It is always good to have a straightforward explanation of biochemical processes.

  • It is always a good thing to have a straightforward explanation of biochemical processes.

  • thankyou so much this will definately help me in my biology test tomorrow

  • are glucose not joined by condensation reactions, forming glycosidic bonds no?

  • @BartsDentist yep..they are joined by condensation reaction..forming glycosidic bonds.i'm no expert. bt I can surely say it's condensation reaction.this guy said it's dehydration reaction. who's correct?

  • @isuwijez @bartsdentist A dehydration reaction is simply a condensation reaction where water is lost in the process of joining two monomers.

  • Wow, thank you so much for uploading!! You explained it way better than my teacher did. I get most of it now. :)

  • Thank you...

  • The video deals with sufficient amounts of content in an aesthetic and understandable manner, however I recommend that the speed at which words are said is slightly reduced.

  • @wasdcontrols

me too, the words are so fast that i have to concentrate so hard.

if any thought no matter how small (such as the mental image of a rice grain for half a second) gets into my head, i lose it, then i have to rewind the video
