A lot of fans complained that the training was too harsh and borderline abuse. . . .But what you apparently failed to understand was that Rain went into this film with a total rookie mentality. He didn't want to be treated like a star, he wanted to be trained along with the stuntmen. The training he endured for those 3 months is the kind of training most stuntmen do all their lives.
I wish I was put into a martial arts movie so I can train and workout and turn into a total thug with more motivation. Plus I'd be in a martial arts movie which would be sweeet.
this is a man that takes his crafts seriously, he doesnt f@$k around when it comes to his works. he might not have that 'sweet-boyband face' but his singing/dancing/showmanship dont lack in anyways.

The compulsory army service is indeed a shame. 2 years can be a long time in the entertainment industry. I can see he's done a few other things, not really my sort of movies.
