I must admitt, this wan't a very good live performance. She shouldn't have been jumping up and down whilst trying to hit the long notes. It does sound like she had a cold, so that wouldn't have helped. However, she did fantastic when she performed The One That Got Away the year after. Much better :)

I am a massive Katy fan but I have to admit this isn't a great performance... but I think the 2011 X Factor performance proves that we cant just write her off. Whether or not she is note perfect is pretty irrelevant- so many people love her music and are inspired by her.
