This project should start off by a sample group. perhaps a person loaded with money could go down to a small country in poverty and buy the government into the project. Say an island in the proximity of indonesia that has become independant. Once it proves to work, countries that has failed in monetary system (heavily burdened with debt) will love to throw their money away and then the whole world will follow with the collapse of monetary system after that.

I have a question...if we suppose that this is the best possible global solution, how are we going to achieve it?First of all it's totally dependent on scientific research,hence on scientist only,who,until then,will need money and support to do that. And after that they should continue working to develop even more advanced systems,while the rest of the world will be doing nothing.How's that?...

@ianad407@ianad407 Good question. The transition period is the most complicated aspect of the venus project and has been the subject of much debate. I would suggest going to the zeitgeist movement website for their views. I must say, however, that I made this video over a year ago and my views have changed in regards to the direction of humanity and I am now a libertarian and support the constitution and free market capitalism.

@ianad407 However I do think that the technologically advanced future envisioned in the venus project is very possible and the direction in which we should go moving toward. I just no longer agree with the concept of a cashless society or a one world society run by scientists.

@venusprojection Heh!...Sure sounds freaky!But still libertarian capitalism is definitely not a system to fight for.It is proved unstable and full of contradictions,leading to major social problems.I don't like the fact that in venus project they have it all clear and neat in mind.It's impossible to find a really satisfying and adequate system only by talking about it or debating.I don't like fixed answers like the ones they have about the future of humanity.

@ianad407 Well it's either capitalism or communism... I choose capitalism. Socialism is a false choice because it's just a transitional phase toward communism and just seems to lower the standard of living for pretty much everybody. Anarchy won't work for obvious reasons.

Neither communism nor capitalism can ever appear we the same form they had the last century. Capitalism has transformed many times and is still changing.Communism has no adequate context to appear again the way it was or at all.So maybe we will see things we never imagined before.Don't you agree>.

@ianad407 My position is that giving people the freedom to make their own living by perusing an occupation of their choice is the best way to go. For it to work you need a small but efficient government to bring a certain to order to things and provide things such as roads and police. Most problems that are wrongly blamed on capitalism and freedom are usually in fact caused by big government policies, keynesian economics, or corrupt people in highly powerful positions who try to game the system.
