I wouldn't say all their songs had a 'similarity' -Particularly after 1976 they were really creating their own unique brand of music from then on. I believe they were called the Hootenanny Singers before they became ABBA [with a campy pop-style of music- I think 'ring ring' was a tune they did in that time originally before bringing it back again later-if I recall correctly] and had a very pop-sy flavour to their music like many pop-artists at the time.

I remember at this time there were so many great groups, the 60's spillover groups, the 70's groups and you just took ABBA for granted, now looking back they were the best. If they were on the scene now in their prime they would be dominating the music scene.

I've always thought that Frida seems very stiff and awkward in live performances, whereas Agnetha knows exactly how to work a male audience! Then again, Frida's made a lot more money than me so fair play to her, I suppose.

Oh, I'm sure she is - don't get me wrong, those girls worked brilliantly together as a unit and I know of many guys (my own stepfather included) who much prefer Frida to the squeaky clean Agnetha. I just have this thing about blondes; it's a common complaint, or so they tell me!

I love them in those black outfits and the dance at the end is funny and cute, they must have worked on that for  hours, they are perfectly co-ordinated and they did get competitive on stage, in a wonderful way.

It's the first time I watch this video and the energy shown is amazing! Not even in concerts they were this frentic!

Love this song though it didn't go well in the charts back in those days. I always felt it was an attempt to repeat the Waterloo formula. Lead guitars, rock-edged sound and catchy chorus.
