Can you keep contact lenses on for a long period of time without taking them off? (Like a week or maybe forever) or will it effect your eyesight? :)

Thank you very much!!! I didn't want to use contacts because i couldn't put them in they always popped out when i closed my eye i tried everything closing them slowly, fast,ect. But all i needed to do was close the lower lid first slowly then the top thanks!

Make sure you finger is dry so the contact will want to stick to your eye and not your finger (:

I can get them out and in fine, its just, when they ARE in it feels like i have a hair in my eye, it might sound stupid but will this feeling go away..? because its really annoying and irritating, thanks :/

I got my lenses a couple weeks ago. At first it took about 20 minutes to put them in, now it takes 1 min :)

Taking them of was very easy for me from the start. I get out on the first try.

I just got my contacts and when the assistant showed me how to put them in, it was easy took me about 1min to put both in and out. The next day at home when putting them in, my eye lids were twitching like crazy. Its so funny, but no more glasses YAY!!!

I've been trying contact lenses for 3 years now. My eyesight is really bad and it is literally taking over my life. I am so self-conscious about wearing my glasses in front of people so every time I go to parties and things I never wear my glasses. its so frustrating and kind of dangerous because everything is so blurry and its like I've lost one of my senses. I know how amazing it would be to wear contacts as all my problems would go away but I have such a big fear of putting them in my eyes.

I'm getting contacts in 2 weeks and I'm really excited!!! Most of my friends have either forgotten what I looked like without glasses, or never seen me without them! And, there probably are less than 10 people in my grade (6th) that actually wear glasses. I'm tired of being the odd one out!

am I the only person who gets tired with contact lenses in I've had em for a week i've been wearing em from 4-9 2 days ago and I put em in an hour ago today and it feels like i'm drowsy and a lil tired then again my prescription is way higher than last time.

i'm 15 btw

what is you have really sensative eyes? I'm scared shitless about my eyes I can't touch them at all and I already have an eye problem I don't want them getting any worse from a contact incident but I want contacts for costume not to help in any way

Hi i have a problem w/ putting contacts into my eyes. My eye always spasms really badly whenever i have the contacts near my eyes and it kinda closes before i can get the contacts in. Is there anyway anyone can help me get over this ? Thanks :/

maby u shud get ur finger very near to the white of ur eye when u open ur eye

its just hard to explain :D but i made it :D im just only 13yrs. old my sister gave me a contact lense cuz i want it the first we were having a hard time putting the contact lense but once u succeded on putting ur contact lense it will be much more easy to u to put ur contact lense like me cuz the first time really hurts ur eye

but the 2nd and so on it wont hurt ur eye i wish this helps :D

so i took a contact class and i faill, soo i have to wear glasses all day long, soo the reason why i fail it becuz im afriad if it poke my eye or feeling wierd, and i soooo afriad if i wont be able to take em OFF, if i poke my color eyee!!!

Last week I went to see about contacts and my appointment was that long ago, they gave me a contact lense to practise puttting in, it was difficult for the first time, and seeing as im so young. I tried and tried but couldnt touch the middle of my eye. But i have noticed practising i can touch the white of my eye without any pain or nervous blinking at all. Is it possible to apply the contact by putting it on the white surface.

to take out lenses its simple, use your left hand to open the top of the eye lid (not covering your left eye) and use your right hand's middle finger to hold the bottom of the eye down. then with your fourth finger & thumb to slowly pinch it out at a 6 o'clock angle. remember don't use your nails this could damage your eye & lenses very easly!

When you want to take them out, you only have to pull down your bottom lid, then put your index finger DIRECTLY on your pupil and roll down. You should feel the lens touch the pink part of your bottom lid, pinch the lens and pull out. Another way is to roll the lens to the corner of your eye (closest to your ear) and then pinch, and take it out.

lol i was kinda worried when I started wearing contacts. All you have to do is keep your eye open and take your pointer and thumb on the sides of your eyes and slowly come in and squeeze the contacts off. For me I come in a bit and wehn i feel the contact i squeeze it a bit and blink and it usually comes right off of my eye. Its just a matter of learning what works for you.

@Demonboy1314 I agree with you. There are many many people who have hard times putting in contacts. I am getting contacts next week sometime. I'm a little nervous, but if you practice, it will all be fine. There are many videos that show you how to take them off, very simple. :)
